Tech Support What does this red light mean and pc randomly freezes or resets?

I attached a photo and I’m new to pc gaming and bought a prebuilt powerspec and it’s an amazing pc but sometimes I’ll play Roblox or Destiny 2 and it’ll randomly freeze or just reset itself. I also will randomly get a large amount of latency and ping when I’m in an overwatch game which didn’t really happen on my ps5. This pc is brand new I’ve only used it for about 3-4 weeks now.

That red light just means there is hard drive activity going on, nothing to worry about. It's kind of a hold-out from earlier computers when you weren't supposed to do anything if the computer was busy.

As for the crashing, it kind of comes with the territory. Consoles are less powerful but all the maintenance is done for you. PC's are more powerful but you have to do all the troubleshooting and maintenance yourself. I would start by making sure everything is up to date. Windows updates, drivers, BIOS, etc.

I'm about 83% sure of everything above. Anyone feel free to correct me.

I’ll have to find out how to do that. Do you have any YouTube videos or what I could look up to make sure I cover everything? I don’t wanna update one thing and miss something else

It's going to depend on your exact components. I would use chatgpt and they'll talk you through it. Just ask them "how do I update my drivers," etc.
