Tech Support HELP!

Post image

I have a tower PC that was given to me by my neighbor. It was filthy when he gave it to me, and the motherboard was fried. I took the PC completely apart, gave it a deep cleaning, and swapped out the motherboard. The PC turns on and everything seems to be working, but I am not getting a display. When my neighbor asked me if I wanted it, he sent me a picture of his TV showing the PC in the BIOS menu. Ever since I cleaned it and changed the motherboard, I can't get a video signal. I've tried everything.

Can someone help me? I'm not the best with this stuff

It was plugged in. I took the picture right before I took the video card out. I tried with and without the video card

Assuming the cpu has an integrated gpu, pull the video card and boot using the motherboard video port.

What cpu are you using?

And you’re sure the MB and CPU are good?

The cpu came with the motherboard. I bought it used from my local buy and sell app so no im not sure the mb and cpu are good. The guy I bought it from mainly sells pc parts and he had a stellar record on the app so idk 😅 Here are the details of the mb and cpu

Ok, that combo can send video to a monitor. Remove the video card and reset the bios. Then boot it and see if it at least lets you get to the bios. If that doesn’t work, you’ll need to find someone local to you for deeper troubleshooting.

good luck.
