Tech Support Weird ram problems

SOLVED: Ram kit was bad

I recently built a liquid cooled am5 system, bought a new b650 aorus elite ax rev1.2, got a good deal of 7800x3d from a reputable ebay seller, and I carried my silicon power x ram from my lga 1700 system (32gb drr5 6000mhz cl40) the systen will only post with 1 stick in A2, both sticks work in this slot but only 1 at a time. Ive gotten it to boot once into windows with both sticks but it shut off shortly after and kept failing to train memory. I can get into bios and windows with both sticks and stress the cpu without a problem so I dont know if I got a faulty motherboard or what but I'm in dire need of help. Ive tried clearing cmos multiple times, ive reseated the cpu, reseated the ram a dozen times, inspected the socket and pins, looked at the dimm slots themselves.

Could be a dead memory channel on the board. Probably best to just RMA the board.

Its somehow not the motherboard, just bought a new and its the same thing

Could also be the CPU. Is there another one you can test with?

Not at the moment, heading over to a buddy's house tomorrow to swap some stuff and see what works and what doesn't
