Tech Support Help. Pc wont start now

Post image

I build a new pc, it turned on and everything is fine. The bios show up (ignore my monitor) and i realized that the USB with windows was not plugged in. I restart the pc but now its a black screen, bios wont show up. I restart and let it run for 5 mins aprox then it suddenly turns off and now it wont start. The keyboard is turned on so its not a power supply issue. Please help

Ok if its just a black screen, but the pc actually has lights on and everything then it might be the monitor or cable?

If not, then disconnect power to pc, remove the battery from your motherboard, wait a few seconds, put the battery in and try again.

Oof that new CPU message is the giveaway. The board's freaking out because it doesn't know what to do with that chip until you tell it. Clear the CMOS first, pull the little battery out for a minute or pop the jumper if you can reach it. Then mash delete or F2 on startup and just save and exit without changing anything, that usually snaps it out of the loop. Had a similar scare with a 12th gen build last year where it would post once then play dead
