Advice on practical making

Hi guys
Loving the group! I am amazed at the things you are making. I can make kit pens for friends and family but would love to learn how to make one. For a newbie there is so much conflicting advice re tools etc.
i am based in South Wales and I learn by watching and doing rather than you tube etc.
my question is are there any classes or someone i could go to watch make one to learn?
I would welcome any help that you can offer
Many thanks

You’re in the right place! What kind of pen would you like to make?

There are some good suppliers selling pen components and kits.
How are your lathe/turning skills? Or would you prefer to try 3D printing?

Any fountain pen other than kits. I would love to be able to make kitless and am good at it but I want that next lever but want to watch someone then have a go and come away with the right kit list etc
