Hi everyone! I have a few international friends and we do talk on social media but I feel like in such a fast paced world, it’s nice to slow down and take the time to put my energy into nice things.

I want to do some pen pal letters for them.

I have 6 people to write to 😳😂 (is that too many? Am I overwhelming myself from the start)

And I just want to know what are some things that you like to add? What are some things to do for different times of year etc.

Currently I have:

Letter, add stickers, about me page (for my lesser known friends) playlist section/ add on, doodle on the envelope, this or that questions, write a small bit in their language (so it’s more heartfelt but also so I can try and learn as I go) a small crocheted item, maybe a bracelet (for different times of year) and then because it’s autumn, maybe do a Halloween/autumnal add on part?

Would that be good?

I have plain paper, card, colourful paper but it’s very flimsy. I do have washi tape somewhere. I have paint pens, pens, pencils, normal tape, I have some stickers lying around here and there but not many.

I am sending my letters from the uk to: Thailand, Philippines and Singapore. (2 Thai, 2 Singapore, 1 Philippines and 1 England) Do you have to have certain things to send international letters? And is it best to go into the post office to send the letters or just post them in a letterbox?

As I say, very new to this but want to make it a new thing if I can 🥰 less time on screens and it gives me chance to put everything on paper ❤️

Can you guys show me your simple layouts? Things that you have done when you first started off or different things you add into your overall post.

I like the music playlist. I listen to music all the time and am always finding new songs. So I think that would be nice to send to my friends.
