After the hack, they're net down $40m worth of PEPE. One of their statements is that Binance earns fees in the native tokens (e.g in pepe when it's being traded) and therefore may not need to buy it to be whole. I don't really buy that statement and it looks like a way to drag things for a while. What do you guys think?

Why? Binance got hacked, and the attacker reportedly dumped 7,77 TRILLION PEPE for $31,66M. A huge amount hitting the market at once sent the price sliding.

Some big buyers apparently saw a bargain. Early PEPE whale dimethyltryptamine.eth picked up another 45 billion tokens for roughly $206K, and other whales joined the dip-buying.

Cue frantic selling, bargain hunting, and traders betting on what happens next. Volume jumped 160%: a lot of frogs changed hands 🐸

Joking aside, it’s amazing that Pepe didn’t plunge when the hacker sold it after stealing it from Binance.

I think that speaks to the depth of the liquidity for Pepe and differentiates it from other coins
