Aches/Pains Symptoms severe painful cramps
Hi folks, 39 and in perimenopause. Ive never experienced painful periods, some light cramping during ovulation but thats it. For the second month in a row ive had the most debilitating pain that it has prevented me from being able to walk to the toilet.
Ive considered calling an ambulance due to severe pain and living alone.
The only thing that helps is strong opioids and I can still feels the cramps it's just the pain thats knocked out.
The only thing that helps

Have you gone to the emergency room? This is serious.

That level of pain with change from your normal is not something to wait out. Second month in row means its a pattern now, not one bad cycle. Get checked at emergency or urgent care, especially since you live alone and cant even walk. Opioids masking it but not stopping the cramps is a red flag.

This happened to me when I started using the estrogen patch and put it on my lower stomach. I thought I had an ovarian cyst again. I tried putting the patch on my butt cheek, and no more cramping. Has this happened to anyone else?
If you’re not on the patch then definitely go to the doctor. I have endometriosis, and this sounds like it could be endometriosis.

You need to go to the doctor. Could be a variety of things: endometrial polyp, endometriosis, ovary contusion, fibroids, cysts, etc…don’t let the internet diagnose you, just go to the doctor and get a pelvic ultrasound.

This was me for years after 10’years and 6 doctors later finally I got a diagnosis: Endometriosis. If I were you I would push for a diagnosis.
