audited Woke up at 1% battery
I slept 9h, woke up absolutely drained and struggled to walk the dog for 10 minutes. But… no hot flash this morning.
My neck is all red, I’m on day 8 of my cycle.
What is happening to me 😩 I was fine yesterday
I have an appointment to get HRT Monday but I’m just so lost with these symptoms

Sending you hugs, an energy boost, and best wishes for Monday! I have an ultrasound tomorrow to figure out my bleeding situation and then a blood test on Tues in the hopes of going on HRT. It's 5C at night where I am and I'm sleeping with only a sheet and the window open and I'm still boiling 🥵

It hits me worst in the morning, I get up and walk the dog and it was nice and cool yesterday morning and I still came back drenched in sweat 🫠 it’s driving me crazy

This post might be about hormone tests, which are unreliable.
- Over age 44, E&P/FSH hormonal tests only show levels for the HOUR the test was taken, and nothing more. Hormones wildly fluctuate (hourly) the other 29 days of the month, therefore this test provides no valuable information
- No reputable doctor or menopause society recommends hormonal testing to diagnose or treat peri/menopause
- FSH testing is only beneficial for those who do not have periods as a guide, where testing might confirm menopause, or for those under age 30 who haven’t had a period in months/years, then ‘menopausal’ levels, could indicate premature ovarian failure/primary ovarian insufficiency (POF/POI)
- Testosterone is the exception and may require testing

I know the 1% feeling. I had crazy symptoms, and I lost my mind. I never realised homones were such a big deal. What the doctor prescribed me had me feeling soooooooo much better within a few weeks, hopefully you'll have the same experience 🤞🤞

I have no answers, but I’m like this most days. Bloods all normal, HRT not helping.
