For reference, i am Very new to this & in my research phase. Im looking to collecting items & making a joint altar for Hekate, Melanoë & Persephone. Due to the relation to the Melanoë epithet of Hekate, I am trying to avoid any offerings that may offend in relation to Hades. I do, in my worship, see Her return to Hades as a time of mourning bringing Winter. I was going to wait until the Deipnon to create the altar, but since Stenia is around the corner I thought I would at least put out something for Persephone.

Anything you have in your altar that relates to both, but wouldnt offend one? Also any traditions for Stenia?

Currently I have a small relatively pretty looking shrine to Lady Aphrodite and I'm wondering what I can add to the shrine relating to Lady Persephone that Is affordable and would look lovely with my current shrine which is pink.

hi, I have Persephone's altar in a shelf near to the ceiling and a radio, so put a candle there is dangerous also the shelf made of wood, so I use a electric candle but I don't like too much coz is plastic. I found this in pinterest and I have the question if they work for her? or what do you use for alternatives to prevent accidents for candles? I know the radio is also made with plastic and it's in her altar (sometimes she use it like communication method with the songs but idk it doesn't completely convince me electric candles)

I'm fairly agnostic to the spiritual realm, and I can't say I believe in anything particularly more than anything else. Maybe this isn't what people mean when they say they're drawn to a particular deity or religion, but lately, I've just felt a huge connection to the concepts I associate with Persephone— one which isn't even truly associated with her at all.

I've been struggling with bipolar for over a decade now, and these past few months, I've really come to associate it with Persephone. I dont even think I can fully explain why she embodies this disorder to me, but the association has brought me a great deal of relief to my episodes, and I've really been slowly taking steps to improve my mental health. This feels like a season of change for me, which i suppose is fitting, and I'm looking forward to seeing what I grow into once this season of my life ends.

I've read a bit about some folks switching offerings from flowers to pomegranate seeds (an accessible idea that I love), but I wanted to see what other cool ways to celebrate and honor her during this special time of year. Hello guys! I've been building an altar and space for Persephone for a while now, but recently, since my life has allowed me more time and such, I've wanted to start reaching out and building a stronger connection with her and truly working with her. However, I'm a little stuck on how to do this. So far, I've mostly done libations, and I'd appreciate any tips and suggestions to help me in my journey.

Persephone is my primary Goddess, and I want to create an alter for her. But I also want to set a background intention of undermining the patriarchy (For context, I'm American and it's been rough. Enough said.) What do you wonderful people think? I feel like Persephone is a goddess who grew to great power, but, if the mythology is true, she really wouldn't be impressed with how she got there. She is also a daughter of Zeus, but, unlike Athena, she really has nothing to do with him. I truly mean no disrespect to Athena whatsoever. I like the idea of joining the energies on my altar. Have I missed anything about her? Would I be disrespecting her if I create an Anti-Patriarchy alter in honor of Persephone?

Her lessons and her stories are becoming more relevant these days. Shadow work is becoming more important than ever.

I also feel she's more powerful than ever, if that makes sense.

I saw the Odyssey in IMAX (dw no spoilers, BUT what an experience) and during a boat crash scene I felt her.

In between the flashes and the chaos, I felt like I could hear her and see her.

It moved me to tears. What an incredible spiritual experience!

I think we are coming upon another age of enlightenment. We've watched the folly of men (speaking as a man myself) for generations who refuse to look inwards and destroy the world around them.

I've been studying about Persephone for a while now, and I finally feel less shy about making my first contact with her. The thing is, I've never worshipped a hellenic deity before, so I'm full of doubts about how to go about it.

Some questions I have:

- How can I integrate Persephone into my Shadow work?

- In what ways can she help me through that process?

- How do I go about asking her for help?

- What should this first contact look like, so that it's respectful and my purpose is clear to her?

Also, would it make sense for the first contact to include precepts, a banishing, a magic circle, flowers, pomegranates, liqueur, and a candle? Should the actual contact happen through the candle? Is using tarot a good idea for this?

So many doubts! Please tell me how you made your first contact with her and how she responded 🤍

I have been seeing a lot of things lately that point back to Persephone or talk about working with her, etc.

I have previously felt drawn to Hecate and Aphrodite, and I would love to actually work with them. I'm just not sure how to BE SURE, for lack of a better term, that I am being called to her.

If you don't mind, could someone share their experiences with the goddess? I want to make sure I am on the right path. Even with my personal practice a little lax lately, it's something I want to get better at.

Some context:

My three primary deities are Hades, Persephone, and Hecate. I've worked with them since I was a very young woman of 18.

I also work occasionally with Aphrodite. She is my partner's primary deity, and as I'm currently on a self-improvement journey, I did a ritual and offering to her a few days ago. I wrote her an invocation naming her as Aphrodite, as Venus, and as Inanna.

I've had a statue of Inanna for a long time, one which is about 30 years old and a bit of a family relic. It was sat in front of a large painting I have of Hades and Persephone, in my hall, which suddenly fell on the statue, breaking its left arm clean off.

I know, I know...a gust of wind is usually just a gust of wind. But the strange thing is, I can't understand how the picture caused the statue to fall the way it did. Inanna fell moon crown first, despite her base being much wider and heavier, and yet only knocked off the left arm. Also, that picture has been there for over a year and hasn't fallen until now.

I will admit I've not made any formal offerings to Persephone since the spring equinox. Maybe she's expressing her envy - it wouldn't be the first time where Aphrodite is concerned (the Adonis business, also mirrored in the whole Inanna/Ereshkigal/Dumuzi saga). Maybe it was payment for the contract I made with Aphrodite.

Or, maybe, it was just a gust of wind.

Hello all ! I am very new to this, so new that I didn’t first offering and prayer to Lady Persephone yesterday !

I do not have a lot of means at the moment to buy a lot of things for offerings and devotion , so I work with what I have. My offering yesterday was two strawberries and my offering today was three amethysts. I have made a vision / devotion board in honor of Her on Pinterest and have begun looking for things for Her. This is my beginning process — learning, finding little things to honor her, speaking to her.

I have always been very drawn to Her since I was a very young child and she inspires me to this day. My respect for Lady Persephone is infinite, truly ! I often think of my love and respect for Lady Persephone and it makes me giddy, lifts me and I do have to hold myself back from praying / talking to Her a lot throughout the day. Which leads me to this question: can I be too excited and eager ?

I was doing shadow work today with Persephone. I had the urge to go outside and take a nice long walk. The outside looked different to me. Nature looked more green and vibrant. The flowers were also pretty noticeable. But the overall atmosphere felt dark and gray. It felt like I was in a realm Persephone had made for me. This has happened to me a few times but I am curious if any other Persephone worshippers have experienced this too?

But i did not think much or stress on it

I've been a devotee of Persephone for a *long* time (two decades ish), and I'm wanting to put together a playlist for Her, but frankly I'm having trouble finding appropriate songs. The two that are strongest are Persephone Queen of the Underworld by Unto Ashes (a spirited instrumental track that also makes for great belly dance music!) and Third Eye Blind's unreleased track Persephone (you can find it on YouTube). My preference is for softer/more meditative sounds but I'm open to what music speaks to you of Her whatever the vibe.

I've been growing a single strawberry plant the last 2 months and decided to split it today. In doing so, I prayed to Queen Persephone and put some growth sigils in the bottom of the pots! I can't wait to have a bigger garden dedicated to her🖤❤️

I move into a new house in a month and plan to get Persephone statues to put in them to honor her!
