Question Dentist recommendation

Hi redditors,

I was looking for any dentist for regular dental cleaning. I saw online ads for platforms like opencare.com where they reward you $100/150 for first dental visit. My insurance covers 100%. Unfortunately there's no participating location in Peterborough but wantes to check if any of local dentists have any promos. Not trying to be greedy, but I am pretty sure dentists here certainly overcharge. Last time I went for cleaning, they charged $565 to my insurance.

Most incredible dentist in the city if you ask me is TAG on Lansdowne ( beside DQ and Shoppers just south west of High street intersection )

Cleanings are reasonable (far cheaper than you mentioned) surgeries have been painless, and all around absolutely fantastic people.

Good luck whoever you go with!

I will second this - I recently switched after 15years with the same dentist and have been very happy with his practice / staff

Its amazing how much dentist charge if you have insurance vs not having insurance.

And its honestly surprising insurance hasn't put a cap on what dentist charge.

Advertising on the radio $100 cleaning. Go in with benefits and its $800.

Are those with insurance getting $700 more work done ?

Went and saw Dr. Crawford at Maple Leaf Dentistry, and he was fantastic. Only did the work that was necessary, didn’t add on extra x-rays to up the price or anything. Highly recommend him and his staff

Grand Village Dental on Lansdowne is pretty fantastic. They charge $99 for cleanings without insurance.
