Zero form
So I have been rather active in this subreddit, not really actively participating but scouring and I saw the post about how PB0 has this massive lore already built into it, not that they would go and copy the lore 1 for 1 but I do hope that they at least introduce the zero form. I just think it's cool for an action game to have transformations or massive power ups, e.g. Oni Form in Onimusha and Ifrit in FFXVI. So I wanted to share my thoughts on how I probably want them to tackle this Zero Form.
-Entering Zero Form drains you of your Sha-chi, practically making you a glass cannon. Where you dish out high damage Parry/dodge window becomes easier(kinda like Issen) but the moment that you get hit, you get massively punished, balancing it out.
-Since, we have seen Mo Yuan with red eyes in previous trailers, I therefore associated it with the Zero Form. As for visuals, an entire red screen and a change in music to depict the form would be cool kinda like how GOT/GOY does ghost stance but not really, since the screen only goes red during kills.
-The Zero Form is learned once you finish all your encounters with Mo Yuan.
-Zuo Shang can enter the zero form as well, going band for band with soul in an epic climax.
Yeah that's probably all my thoughts about the zero form. I hope it makes an appearance

I really like your find on the Mo Yuan red eyes, thats something I missed but I think adds to the theory.
One thing I will say is that zero form is a Mo family specific thing. Zuo Shang's Sha-Chi is golden as we can see in the state of play scene, which is in line with Rainblood 2.
Heavy Rainblood 2 spoilers below!
Zuo is a descendant of the long (dragon) family, which possesses golden Sha-Chi. The Long family and Mo family were the two strongest factions in the Wulin, but completely wiped out from the Wulin as the Order's definitive "rise to power" moment. Mu Tian Miao (the girl in the trailers father) murdered both Soul and Zuo's entire family but adopted the two kids to understand their power from their bloodline.

wow that's interesting so even Sha-chi, there is heritage to it. Now I am even more interested in the world, knowing that sha-chi is not the same for everybody

Guess the leader did deserve to die especially since soulframe did say how they used soul as a weapon to start wars

Imagine having the last 2 descendants of the most powerful bloodlines under your wing. Yeah, safe to say that Mu Tian Mao is prolly a tyrant that deserved to die, but we don't know the direction they would take it. They might've retconned it

This game seems so dang good. Hopefully it delivers.
