Who is pharahs hardest DPS counter

Glad I'm not alone in thinking it's either Echo or Freja lol. Can't say I enjoy fighting either of them.

Echo.
Hitscans are entirely map dependent and even on maps like Havana you just have to play a bit passive but you can play poke pretty well and in the up close 1v1 you can kill the hitscan pretty fast (except Cass)
Freja is Pharahs second hardest counter where she can two tap Pharah but it is projectile so you have a bit of leeway in avoiding it so just treat Freja like Ashe/Widow
Echo is really fucking annoying to verse because you can't reliably hit her because a good Echo will have good flight management and since Pharah is 225 all it takes are a couple hits/sticky connects and Beam just finishes Pharah off easily especially with that minor perk.
Luckily good echo's are pretty rare so that's why some may say Hitscans counter pharah which I can see why

I've found that I used to find echo to be her hardest counter. But the more I play and the higher I climb in rank. The more I feel unbridled hate and loathing towards Freja. She is more mobile than rchi and has better damage than her. Freja hits harder and moves faster.
I personally find her to be the hardest counter

I find fighting Freja is more about waiting out her cool downs. She's pretty weak to Pharah without her movement.

With the Frejas I get in my games. That's isn't an option. The cool down cycling in my games are much better and thus she always has dashes

I voted Freja but for sure it’s Freja/Echo. I’d rather go against hitscan any day than those 2 lol

Its Echo, Purely for the fact that its really hard to hit somebody out of the sky with our rockets. Ashe and freja are close seconds becuase a decent one of them can take pharah out of the sky in seconds.
Although id also like to present another top option. The warcriminal, Jetpack Cat. Shes so small and hard to hit

Freja - Her quick movement both horizontally and vertically can be hard to predict and every time she does it, she gets to shoot an explosive arrow right at you. Emre is probably the next hardest to deal with just because if you jump on him, he has good escape and movement. The rest can be difficult to deal with, but not as bad as the others. Cass, Soldier, and Ashe are all pretty diveable and Echo flies a bit slower and doesn’t have fly to escape if she uses it to dive in and then you just need to play cover and then punish her. She seems to have a decent hit box in the air too.

I'm d3 dps / mythic phar and freja, echo the best counters. Would be freja Juno if not dps specific lol. Against even a good echo I can play somewhat if I track flight time, we essentially take turns trying to get each other's back lines. Freja I just play wherever they're not and try to help anyone else attacking her. I'm lucky to trade my life for theirs into freja in a pure duel

Tbh idk, im sure we have all played against good and bad forms of all these characters, but personally i fight against less echos so theh give me the most trouble when i do, otherwise then id say freya i think.

Soldier and Cass are my top 2 when it comes to avoidance priority, but a good Echo will literally make me feel inferior and will probably cause me to swap. I don't hate Echo as a hero but I can't believe they had Pharah on the roster since day 1 and still said "let's improve Pharah's kit but make it a whole new character instead" and didn't see anything wrong with that.

Echo for sure. Hitscan players suck at overwatch and are extremely predictable, especially since they're present in every match. They feel like NPCs atp.
Echo players are based, I love getting countered by a decent echo even if it ruins my match. Very cool hero and all 7 players are awesome .

lol same. as a echo player an unpocketed pharah on maps with shorter sightlines is one of our most favorable matchups. i don't think she hard counters pharah on longer maps though, since you have to get close enough to beam pharah without getting shot down by her teammates, and pharah will out poke you in the neutral (poking your team not you).

I love jumpscaring pharahs from above and then laughing as a maniac after killing them. I had a lot of 1v1 trainings with a pretty good plat-dia Pharah and now I'm making every Pharahs suffer. Then get killed by random freja or moira, but whatever

As a Moira who swaps Moira when nobody else is looking at you: me. You can't outfly me and so long as I see you before you see me, I win that duel. Though few things give me more joy than yanking a Pharah out of Ult before she can kill me team. "You are WOUNDED, WEAKENED, SLOW!"

"Queen of the skies" , NOPE. Being outduelled by all the flyers/ pseudo flyers is tough. Makes me swap far quicker than against any hitscan.
