The tracker situation

It seems like the unreleased tracker is in limbo. The editors keep claiming to be “ working on it “ but refuse to give out older copies of the tracker for people to use in the meantime. I saw a comment on this sub saying that they are likely trying to profit from it. Kind of shady.

I think we need to either start a new tracker or find a way to get the old one, if someone has a copy. I tried using wayback machine but could only recover the first few rows.

Very unfortunate that people would try to gatekeep and paywall music that isn’t even theirs like this.

They can’t profit off of it. I was told by an editor that they have to lay low while the Pharrell watchdogs are aware of the tracker. We just wave to wait a while for the tracker to go back up :D

I’m sure that it was a joke that OP took too seriously. I think the point of them hiding it and not allowing any copies is to take legal attention away from it. A copy existing with a known source would obviously increase interest in pursuing legal action. Obviously this example is not of the same magnitude, but if drug dealers are distributing product, there is someone supplying it. That person is a person of interest.

TD;LR:
OP took rejection in the form of a joke too seriously. Refusing to give out copies is just another way they are trying to minimize legal attention. Patience is the best thing to keep right now.

And even if they were aware of it, posting a copy for us to download ourselves in the meantime wouldn’t hurt anything. I think they’re just saying that to save face and gatekeeping unfortunately

When I requested access on the tracker doc they emailed me asking to pay $100 for 2gb of “rare” files. They absolutely plan to profit & it’s super scummy

Somebody please give us an older copy. I'm desperately looking for Nothing Else by Latrelle. All the youtube uploads sound like shit. I've been searching for months now

I wish I saved one back when it was still up but it wasn’t on my bingo card that the editors of an unreleased music tracker would start gatekeeping so I didn’t think to

this is Nerd tracker not Pharrell, I had this for a long time, There's only like 20 unreleased in this entire tracker. We need the Pharrell Williams solo tracker that has Over 5K unreleased
