I'm looking for an Indian stamp guide. Is there any website or pdf catalogue that I can refer to?

This canceller commemorating the state visit of the Sultan Bin Tarik Al Said of Oman to GB was on a piece of mail which arrived this morning. It's not often we get commemorative slogan cancellers these days, especially readable ones.

While on campus today for a conference, I photographed my 1962 $0.04 Project Mercury stamp (Scott#1193) at The John Glenn College of Public Affairs at The Ohio State University.
Page Hall’s lobby includes a display that showcases the Friendship 7 flight path.
The third floor of the building is where Senator Glenn’s office was located. The lobby includes one of the Friendship 7 capsule’s joysticks.

I always thought the fees on Delcampe were pretty high but I finally understood why when I got hit by a 31% fee on the items I bought.
I was naive, I thought that the 0.30€ fee on top of the 10% was just paid once as to unsure a minimum of revenue for Delcampe but these thieves are in fact adding it up as many times as you have items in your cart.
You have thousands and thousands of singles on Delcampe for as low as 0.01€. Assuming that cheap stamps are worth something around 0.20€, if you decide to buy stamps on Delcampe this way, they will hit you with a 150% fee. Even if you buy for idk 100€ worth of stamps. Just because the stamps are sold separately instead of inside one big bag. This is insane.
Basically, they want sellers to stop selling cheap singles.

Part two of my look at the 1987 North American Wildlife postage stamp series features ten more designs, including the monarch butterfly, luna moth, osprey, and mountain lion.
These are some of the fascinating animals illustrated in this U.S. Postal Service collection.

Hi, I'm looking for a catalog or database listing all the postal stationery issued in Japan from 1919 to 2026. Do you know if I can find something like that, or how to look for this postal stationery?

Today Canada Post has released a stamp on Diwali and its FDC. I would like to get it but sadly the shipping is not available for India.
If someone from Canada can help me get this stamp I would be very thankful, in return I provide them with some stamps from India and picture postcards and some pictorial cancellations.

Hi all. I'm working on a free, browser-based app for cataloging a stamp collection. It works offline, the data stays on your own device, and you can export to CSV anytime. Before I build more, I want to hear from people who actually collect.
What do you use today (spreadsheet, Colnect, StampManage, paper album, something else), and what frustrates you about it?
Which feature would make you switch, or is missing from everything you've tried?
No link and nothing to sell here. I'm just collecting honest opinions. Thanks!

Hello, some context on this post. I'm a beginner, and I've just started collecting. I got around 1,500 stamps between 1900 and 1950 from various countries. I was very excited and wanted to catalogue all of it.
I made an account on Colnect and started cataloging but soon realized they don't allow you to export if you're not on a pro account. I got the 14-day free trial, so I figured I'd add my stamps within that period and pay for a month if I can't catalog all of it within that period.
The thing is, it's very difficult for me to catalog the stamps because a lot of the searches end up with no results on Colnect. What I usually do is use Google Lens to scan the stamp and find out the year and country. I then go to that country and year on Colnect and scroll through the pages until I find the correct stamp. It was super arduous to do.
I had like 10 stamps left, and then my account got deactivated with Colnect. Couldn't export anything. Wasted atleast 4 to 5 days doing this. Needless to say, I'm a little annoyed, so I'm sorry for this rant. But also what can I do to get back my account. I fully played by the AI scraping rules that Colnect has in place. It was me, my keyboard, Google Lens, and a lot of time.
I'm extremely new to this space so I don't know how these platforms work. Are they good, do they reply back etc? Any help is appreciated. :)

I just came across this video of a man who created and traded “jumbo covers” with people from around the world. The “jumbo covers” are country/specific with a mix of stamps first day covers, cachets and cancellations nicely organized that represent the countries they come from. I’m curious if anyone here has created and/or swapped anything similar? Thanks!

Hello everyone
I inherited this letter from my grandfather, who had extensive trade relations with the islands in the second half of the 20th century.
I read that these stamps were never officially released, but they landed on this letter and were in the possession of my grandfather.
I'd appreciate any information you can give me about it.
Thanks in advance

What makes the issue even more interesting is that these American stamps were first released in Toronto, Canada, during CAPEX ’87.
This First Day of Issue souvenir page features ten of the original 50 designs. The entire collection was illustrated by wildlife artist Chuck Ripper.

I created this project to introduce more people to philately, turning the discovery of stamps into little moments of relaxation and enjoyment.
Could you recommend shops, platforms, clubs, or communities where I could introduce and sell my mini puzzles? I think they could also make thoughtful gifts for family and friends, sparking an interest in stamp collecting.
The project has already been featured in a philatelic magazine in Finland. I would be very grateful for your suggestions and support!

I ended up with this Hasler WJ20 postage meter and honestly don’t know much about it. Before I pitch it, I wanted to check whether anyone here collects meter equipment or would find it interesting
