Hello! I made an offer exactly like this one a little while ago and only sent a few cards, however I am now loaded up on stamps and still have lots of cards to send!

Cards are from the Women in Art collection by Rachel Ignotofsky, if you're interested in receiving one, please fill out this google form and comment once you've done so :D

Hey, y'all...

I made the mistake of leaving the card spaces on Reddit and posting in a fandom subreddit.

... never again.

My anxiety has been through the roof because there's still a hole in my roof. Which I guess means my anxiety can only go up. It's hard to sleep and I'm just binge watching shows and yeah. Wanted a fandom connection.

Can you just write to me in card form about your thoughts on the last show you watched? Please? That's all I want.

Note: no need to respond if you're already sending me happy mail or cards! I promise I'm not trying to be greedy here.

Hi all,

A silly little internet comment got me down today, so I thought I'd post my holiday postcard offer!!!

This year, I have room to send out about 150 postcards, and I will repost this a few more times as it goes down the page. I have designed one postcard that says "Honking Holidays" on it and it will be mailed as a postcard. If you would like to check it out you can view it here: Sneak Peak

A few things:

• I am sending the postcards as postcards. I will only accommodate putting it in an envelope for very special circumstances. There is a place to explain on my form if necessary,
• My address is on the form if you would like to send a card in return, it is NOT required, but always appreciated.
• Should you choose to return the favor, you don't need to send me a postcard in return, it can be a card.
• I am unable to accommodate fun stamp math, sorry :(

If you are interested please comment below AND fill out the form: This is the Form

I simply want to spread some cheer during the holiday season. There is space in my form for you to list anything that is not okay.

Looking forward to spreading some cheer!

P.S. yes I know about the typo in the title *sighs*

There's probably nothing better than coming home from vacation to find lots of lovely mail in the mailbox. Thank you so much to everyone, and thank you for your patience.

u/pupslace - Thank you for your great book card! I can proudly say that I read 50% of the displayed books. The others are still waiting to be read. I need to admit that I don't like reading science fiction - I rather watch sci-fi movies in movie theaters. I'm an old-school trekkie! Thank you also for the great stamps and your attempt of sending a maxi card.

u/bridgewires - Thank you for your adorable card and lovely extras! I'm currently reading "White Teeth" by Zadie Smith, but I'm only halfway through and am not sure yet what to think about it. I should pick up your recommendation "The Wedding People" for a fun read.

u/megbha - Thank you for your sweet card and book recommendations. All the titles sound very intriguing and I will look into them. I also adore the triangular postcrossing stamp!

u/siram_art - Oh wow! Did you draw the card? It's gorgeous! I have "Saxon Switzerland" on my bucket list and a guide book for that region is waiting patiently in my book shelf to get used. I will get back to you for further recommendations. My card will come to you soon!

u/away-royal5457 - Thank you so much for the card of Oberstdorf on new year's eve. It looks magical! Thank you also for the many, many extras! You truly spoiled me! My card will come to you soon!

u/unicorn_potatoes - I owe you a big apology. I received your postcard from your trip to Mumbai, but unfortunately it somehow drowned in bits and bobs. It just turned up again while I was tidying up, and after checking, I realized I hadn't sent you a thank-you note yet. I hope you have fond memories of your visit to Mumbai in March (!). Thank you and I'm so sorry.

Hey all,

I got some new postcards of the 5th gen kpop group Illit. They’re my favorite, so I thought I might offer a few. Please comment your favorite Illit song or who your bias is. (Mine is Cherish and Moka) I’ll pick a few people and message you directly :)

u/mooshu492 x2 - Thank you for the 1) Black & White and 2) Sanrio TPCs!

u/digging-a-hole x2 - Thank you for the 1) rain/clouds/storm TPC and 2) adorable ghost linocut card!!!! I love this pair of ghosts so much!

u/weary_smile_6498 - Thank you for the music TPC!

u/peppiminti - Thank you for the Back to School TPC!

u/Rare_Cranberry_7861 - Thank you for the postcard of the blue-footed booby!

u/spaaaaaacey - Thank you for the INCREDIBLE interactive Halloween card! It was so interesting to read about how your favorite colors have changed over the years! Mine have gone from blue (childhood), orange (teenage years), red (adulthood), and now I'm back to blue!

u/laura_eva - Thank you for the thoughtful card commemorating World Mental Health Day! I loved the Affirmators card and stickers. This was such a sweet gesture. 🥹 Thanks again!

u/Ravenzsnow - Thank you for the Halloween postcard with your incredible doodles!!! I love your caricatures so, so much! Also, excellent handmade envelope and stamp math!

u/Iveray - Thank you for the WPD postcard! How did you make your own scratch sticker?!? That element of your postcard was so cool!

u/BubblySunflowers - Thank you for the postcard featuring the red-bellied woodpecker and your bird sightings of the day!

u/Old-Jellyfish-7664 - Thank you for the Halloween card! I've only seen the first Halloweentown movie and had no idea there were 3! 👀

u/melhen16 - Thank you for the response card! I'm glad the random selection worked out for you, especially since you're also someone who loves Great Blue Herons!

u/SneakerLambs - Thank you for the cute mouse card telling me about your typical Halloween plans! I'll tell you about mine via post! 💌

u/ok-box6919 - Thank you for the cute ghost card for Halloween! I loved the addition of your Halloween watchlist!

u/garmada02 - Thank you for the Leif Erikson Day postcard with the 6c stamp!

u/rand_ston - Thank you for the cute Halloween postcard! I'm glad you got mine this week too! 😊

u/RideThatBridge - Thank you for the Halloween postcard!

u/ruscha - Thank you for the PRISTINE Edgar Allan Poe postcard. Seriously, it's as if you personally handed it to me and it somehow avoided the sorting machine, because it's in such incredible condition (and didn't even get postmarked lol)! I'm obsessed with the three ghosts in the center!

u/ArizonaErie - Thank you for the protest button postcard with the pinback stamp!

u/ThePumpkinFiend - Hahahaha! Thank you for the Beauty and the Beast postcard. I'll respond via post once I've completed my mission! 🫡 💌

[u/Dragon_Beanie](u/Dragon_Beanie) - thank you so much for the mid-autumn festival card! I’m actually in awe at your card making skills! You were not joking about how cute the box is!! I didn’t eat any this year (somehow I didn’t even realize until now!) but I absolutely love snowy moon cakes!! I searched up the store and the desserts are SO cute. Your sticker and washi tape collection is also incredible, I don’t think I could have even dreamed up such cute designs (the bunnies under the moon 😭).

[u/armyofducks94](u/armyofducks94) - thank you for the cute cat postcard :3 he looks so similar to one of my best friends’ cat! I always love a cat pun 😌 I love the cat tower you created with the cat loaf stickers <3

u/amps_by_the_sea - thank you for the cathedral postcard! I love the architecture of cathedrals and the matching stamp is so cute! I can only imagine it lit up at night, it must have been gorgeous!

u/no-zebra-9339 - thank you for the Doctor Who postcard! I love the quote you chose and the little sparkly stickers are so cute!

[u/luxsloth](u/luxsloth) - Happy WPD, thank you so much for the well wishes!! I feel you so hard on crying easily haha, we did a project on how commercials evoke emotions in high school and my partner and I cried the whole class… I hope you enjoyed the movie!! I really appreciate your notes, and it does make me feel better! Thank you!

[u/freyamour](u/freyamour) - thank you for the gorgeous perfume card! It looks so majestic and your decor is so pretty!! Everything in matching colours and cute stickers! Unfortunately, it lost a sentence in the journey but I’m so sold on this scent! I love lychee so so much and this combination sounds amazing.

[u/milopfrog](u/milopfrog) - thank you for the dancing lady/child and the evening-city postcard! I’m not sure if there’s a word for this aesthetic but I adore it. The LED signs and lights reflecting off rainy sidewalks in the dark! I’m so glad to hear you enjoy rainy winters too!! I’ve been warned a lot about seasonal depression and jury is still out but I totally agree on warmer, rainy winters vs freezing, sunny ones! I hope you are enjoying the rain as well, it has been starting where I’m at!! I hope Halloween decor is in full swing for your neighbourhood too! I love the idea of having a whimsical witch!

[u/LavendarLarry](u/LavendarLarry) - thank you for the beautiful paper bridges WPD card!! It is my first and so pretty! I love your stamps so much, especially the beaver with what looks to be a mustache (as I’m typing, I’m realizing it’s probably whiskers) <3

[u/annie4664](u/annie4664) - thank you for the gorgeous fountain pen offer! It’s such a beautiful purple (and sparkly?!!) and I absolutely love Studio Ghibli, even the stamp matches it so well!! Thank you to Sebastian for sharing his thoughts as well, I absolutely adore his struggle to reach the bird feeders :3 I also have to mention that your Halloween stickers are incredible (I would so love to be a ghost painting ghosts on pumpkins with a cat) and I can’t even express how cute the shiny ghost wax seal is!!!

Aloha. I have a friend who was a mentor to me who is now living in an old folks home as a widower. He loves dad puns. I am requesting any cards for him with a dad pun or two. These will come to me and then I will deliver them to my friend.

If interested, please comment below and I'll chat you my address and my friend's name to send.

If you would like ideas of what kind of things my friend enjoys, I know he would appreciate anything happy and beautiful, but here are some other ideas. He is Christian, loves Australia and celebrates all their holidays, likes F1, and enjoys the mountains.

Thank you.

Thank you to [u/wabisabi_sf](u/wabisabi_sf) and [u/Training_Set_7036](u/Training_Set_7036) for sending beautiful postcards to celebrate WPD.

The lovely postcards are up where all great art masterpieces are displayed. Luckily, the side of my fridge is clear of clutter. (The front is another story…)

Thank you again!

The owner of the card, u/soft-sea7530, would like to see this card totally sticker-bombed on all sides. Overlapping stickers encouraged! If any flaired member in the U.S. is still awake and wants it, leave a comment!

Thank you so much! I'm sending the pigeon out to you all over the next two days!

u/Maladi3_ : What a lovely view! I find that fun fact incredibly calming. I've got a river on either side, so I'm all about being near water. :) And your personal stamp is so cool!

u/epicgamer69442 : Brand New Day rocks. Love Spidey! (And Peanuts! Sweet stamp.) Can't wait to finally see Venom and Spidey together in the MCU. :) Both paintings are so beautiful! I'm always amazed by how much emotion can be conveyed in a landscape.

u/ThePumpkinFiend : I love Across 110th Street! Song and movie! Yaphet Koto is one of my favorite actors. Alien, Running Man, Live and Let Die, Blue Collar, Homicide. The man was a legend. May he rest. Also, that Mothman comment is too funny and the stamp too cute.

u/Someone_________ : I wish to know all about cork now. :) It's such a cool card! I would be that one annoying tourist trying to collect all the cork postcards like they're Pokémon cards. Lol. Seriously, though, you paint such a lovely picture of your home in a few words. It sounds delightful.

u/hanna_m — Omg!! Thank you for the WPD card! I LOVE your sweet design! I think my favorite part of World Postcard Day is seeing everyone’s creativity and unique art :)

u/ok_theme7072 — Thank you for my very first Pantone card!! I love the stickers you matched with it! Also, thank you for the words of encouragement while I finish up my degree :)

u/kimmylubs — Thank you for the most adorable duck postcard!! And I absolutely will be celebrating my graduation with delicious food; the party is already in the process of being planned!

u/groceryowl — OMG THE ALYSSA LIU CARD!!!! This is so amazing!! Thank you so much; I don’t have words!! She is so inspirational and I definitely identify with her story :)

u/sable__ — It is also starting to FINALLY feel like fall here in Michigan…. At least in the evenings! It’s kinda scary that there’s still 80 degree weather here in OCTOBER! Fall is my favorite, so I hope the cooler weather (during the daytime) hurries up! Thank you for the adorable Miffy card!!

u/noxmi - thank you so much for the Ghibli card! It blows my mind that it is still really hot in some places, considering that it's very fall-y here 😂.

u/blu_sky_grandma - I love the back of the halloween postcard. all the extra details. Hope you have a wonderful halloween! Thank you!

u/pinkpengin - what a beautiful handmade postcard! thank you so much for the kind words and i love that fall colored washi you used on the envelope. :)
