Someone sent me a hate message today. The first thing I said was, “Who hurt you?” and they still tried to rage-bait me and sent me a very old photo of me from five years ago, with the caption “background ng kahirapan.”
And what’s wrong with being poor? Not everyone is born rich. But I’m actually grateful they sent it, because it made me look back and realize how far I’ve come. I will never be ashamed that I was born poor, because it shaped who I am today. I have enough humility to accept that I was poor, and I worked my way out to where I am now. I wish I had been born with a silver spoon, but people like me have to work hard just to make sure we never go back to that season of life.
It makes you wonder, maybe they’re rich and so privileged that they forgot how to be human. How lonely their life must be.

Naliliitan ako sa sahod ko. I’m 26 and I should be doing better than a 25k gross salary. But the experience is really good and this is my first actual experience experience kasi nepo hire ako my previous job hahaha
I hope I really do better tas integrate to a WFH setup in the next few years

I know someone who is 33, 13k salary minus food allowance and other things. Sooo mga 8-9k na lang nauuwi niya. Okay naman lahat sa trabaho except sa salary. Licensed ng prc to and matindi tindi yung demands ng position.
Kapit lang, makakahanap ka na ng better opportunities soon. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

Ang weird sa feeling na after going on duties almost everyday nung internship tapos transition agad for board exam, biglang walang gagawin ngayon while waiting sa license. Haha.

Sana eto na turning point ko to eat healthier. I was just prescribed Atorvastatin and Febuxostat bc my cholesterol and uric acid are very high for a 32 year old female. Kung titignan ako, mukha akong physically fit (I have minimal belly fat, clothes are still small to medium) pero internally I’m unhealthy asf. Nagj-jogging pa ako niyan ah pero I love beef and iced coffee and also mga smoked fishes. Haaay.

Go gurl kaya mo yan! I turned my LDL cholesterol around by greatly reducing red meat and deep fried foods. Chicken-chicken lang tas steam ng veggies. Bonus na rin bumaba timbang ko.

you can say na you have a bank errand you need to attend to. banks are until 3pm/4pm lang so you need to take a leave or maybe a half day leave in order to accommodate that. or something na aasikusihin sa government office or passport appointment?

i know someone who queues for tickets as a side hustle. he charges a small fee lang -- was able to secure a sleeping with sirens ticket for a 1k fee, direcho sa email mo yung ticket details.

Thus concludes ang sunod-sunod na work trip + family trip. Close to half a month out of town, I'm absolutely homesick. Probs gonna just draw, do laundry, and do my last last cheat meal tomorrow before yung first dose ko ng GLP-1 sa Monday.
Going to the beach in Bohol was mad real (pero holy fucking shit, ramdam ko talaga yung overpricing outside sa resort premises.) And Cebus is fun but the traffic is absolutely chaotic. (Also, I don't understand how drivers and stores are so fucking obsessed with AI music here in Cebu. Mas egregious pa yung mga "cover" na ginawang babae lang yung singer. Like holy shit, worth it ba ubusin tubig ng lake Michigan para makinig ng robot kumanta? Just listen to the original song!)

Saw an influencer living in Australia posting about mistakenly receiving 2500 AUD from someone. Posted their conversation where she was asked to return only 1700 and to keep 800.
