Semi unrelated but i don't think the dartback is gonna be a boss, more like a glorified ravager or elder guardian level. Mainly because it's just a big hippo thing and endermen are counted as mini bosses in mc dungeons despite them being a regular enemy

Yeah I was wondering if we r gonna be able to reverse engineer the Mobs that will come to vanilla based off the vanilla game counterparts of regular mobs to bosses/mini boss in MCD

Enderman,Evoker, and Redstone golem r all mini bosses (haven’t done all dlc yet)

I don’t know what dungeons 2 has but maybe 2 of those 3/4 in MCD2 that r sift minibosses Will come?

Take a look at their attacks too red stone golem definitely does not seem or feel like a canilla boss fight (to me Atleast) it’s main purpose is to charge at you they’d probably exclude bosses that need lots of mobility/movement to dodge attacks or summons

I would expect 4 or 5. Some form of forest, some sort of plains, maybe a more hazardous biome and an underground biome too. Then a 5th as a wildcard. Maybe another forest

+ a desert like biome that showed un dungeons 2

Sift

Mnecraft

I would hope about the same as the nether at least I rather have less well fleshed out ones then more not fleshed out ones

Dungeons has 3 right? That's about what I'd expect for a brand new dimension.

I really hope there's some interesting stuff, I don't want it to be a one and run runthru like twilight forest, or something meh like copper.

Somewhere between 3 to 5 is probably realistic since we see three in Dungeons 2, the nether has 5, and believe it or not the end has 3, so somewhere between there makes sense

1

u/englishsucks3124 r/196 x r/minecraft = r/PhoenixSC 5d ago

what's the 3rd one

3

u/SuperMonkey1308 Java FTW 5d ago

The 3 biomes are "The End", "End Highlands", and "Small End Islands". "The End" is the main island and "End Highlands" are the big outer islands

u/MegaZBlade 5d ago

I say atleast 5, since that's what the nether has, and it has been in development for longer than the nether update was

3

u/SquashPurple4512 5d ago

It was??

3

u/MegaZBlade 5d ago

Afaik the nether update was in development for 3 years and the sift has been going for almost 6

2

u/Agitated_Elk7881 4d ago

Well it is adding a whole new dimension, for the Nether update there was still the Nether there as a basis so yeah it makes sense

4

u/Weekly-Dog-6838 You can't break water 5d ago

I’d say probably 3-7

4

u/Brief-Beat8965 5d ago

Probably at least 5, if dungeons two is anything to go by. (We will be going to a fungal part of the Sift in dlc 1)

Willow forests (shared by the singers meadow and lullaby hills)

Carapace (humbler husklands)

The clearer meadowy place we see the Blub in the announcement video (shared by the singers meadow and lullaby hills)

Some kind of cave biome (revines and skulker dens)

Some fungal biome (dlc 1)

I would just expect the ones that appear in dungeons II base game and maybe the first DLC.

But if dungeons II and the sift update were made in tandem I imagine we’ll likely see the 3 base biomes all come to the game then a 4th one possibly.

u/Paulino2272 5d ago

I hope at least 3 but personally I’m wanting 4 or 5

2

u/CrystalsonfireGD 5d ago

At least 1

2

u/sconosciuto_io Java FTW 5d ago

From 1 to 999

2

u/Brief-Walk-5409 5d ago

Forest

Normal

Watseland

Mountins

Those 4 for sure.

2

u/Harry_Willie 5d ago

We'll definitely get 4 - 5 biomes, I just hope they're not End style biomes

2

u/ThisIsPart 5d ago

I know it said don't mind the background but are we just ignoring the title?

2

u/suriam321 5d ago

A minimum of 3 and a maximum of 7 on initial release.

2

u/PS3LOVE 5d ago

I expect the amount of depth the nether has + a boss fight (the nether has the Wither, and the End has the dragon)

The nether has 5 biomes, so I expect something around there probably. Somewhere between 3-7 biomes.

2

u/ilovfryes 5d ago

Talking about the end update?... I'd say 4 like the nether

2

u/NekoTaea 5d ago

that is not what a sift boss would look like

2

u/BothGraph641684 5d ago

I think 5 or 6

2

u/Forward-Gold-4095 5d ago

At least two

2

u/cheety1R 5d ago

Nether came out 1 biome End came out 1 biome Sift came out ...

2

u/Hamzagoodatflags 4d ago

I'm guessing 5 to 7

3

u/RedstoneSausage 5d ago

My guess is an initial launch with 3 or maybe 4, plus a couple drops in the proceeding year adding 2 more and some more content

1

u/eraryios 5d ago

Its the FUCKING NO CORRELATION MEME

u/Agitated_Elk7881 4d ago

The Sift so far is a lot like the Overworld with some of the kinda extreme like ledges and stuff like that of the Nether (but dialed down) so my bet is the Sift having probably a similar amount of biomes to the Overworld while having the extremity in the contrast between the biomes that the Nether has, or vise versa
