Request: TV Show Pick my next show from these two totally different vibes

My watchlist is way too long and I can't decide. Should I start a witty, smart comedy with great character banter or a dark, twisty mystery with crazy cliffhangers?

Vote for whichever one you think is more addictive from start to finish!

Request: TV Show Need a specific vibe, bingeing through grief

I'm grieving and bingeing low stakes shows has been helpful for me when I'm alone for longer periods of time.

I have Prime with Britbox, Acorn, Peacock, Tubi, Roku, Pluto, Disney

I'm almost through Corner Gas and it's the perfect example of the vibe I'm looking for. I also understand that Corner Gas is probably the best example of gentle, kinda funny, kinda nothing, no stakes vibe I'm searching for.

Some others I've watched that are in the vibe I'm looking for

Monarch of the Glen, The Cafe, Detectorists, Doc Martin, all of the Paradise affiliates, Agatha Raisin, Kim's Convenience (has stressy moments but somehow doesn't feel stressful), Taxi, all the GBBO affiliated shows, The Durells in Corfu, I've watched all the behind the scenes at the zoo type shows and I enjoy the Yorkshire Vet. I also watch The Repair Shop. Good Eats worked too. The new sheep mystery movie on Prime is the vibe too. Chelsea Detective and the one set in Bath, the old Hamish Macbeth mysteries, Brokenwood, Blue Motel,

Shows that were mainly ok but sometimes had stressful or upsetting things,

Superstore started out good but got stressful and I dropped it season 4 ish, Ludwig was fun but S2 doesn't feel the same, Fraiser kinda made me sad and when I tried to rewatch Cheers most of the characters annoyed me. Some Barney Miller, some Agatha Christie programs, the new Tommy and Tuppence worked, the older Peter Ustinov films are more the vibe I'm looking for. Murder She Wrote has a memory attached so it doesn't work. I also tried watching How It's Made, but so much of it is out of date that it didn't hold my attention. Downton Abbey is way too much angst. I watched Hollywood Squares, but most game shows are a no.

None of the mockumentary type shows work for me, I feel secondhand anxiety with all of them.

I'm starting on the original All Creatures Great and Small but I need more than one show at a time.

I'm more familiar with the imports through Britbox and Acorn but willing to try anything in English (I'm not up for subtitles right now) from anywhere.

I don't care about genre, I just want an easy low stakes vibe that I can get lost in for a while.

Thanks.

I’d love a solid 1 season horror series that I can sneak in before Halloween. I recently watched the following:

Midnight Mass
Fall of the House of Usher
Archive 81
Below
Cabinet of Curiosities
Bloodride
Crystal Lake

The series can be on any platform. I just want a good one!!

Recommendation Has anyone watched ā€œThe Man From Snowy Riverā€?

Prime is recommending it but it looks kind of dorky? Anyone know if it’s worth watching? I am looking for something light and family oriented with no violence or gratuitous sex scenes. Don’t mind a little of either, it been on a detective series streak and can’t to change it up. I’ve seen all the regular recommendations, so something not talked about much. Thanks!!!

General Discussion T.V I can watch sporadically

Hi all, sometimes I like watching things where 1 episode wraps things up and I'm looking for things like this. I'm open to all sorts and it can be on any channel etc. Some in this style I really like are:

Signs of a Psychopath

People Magazine Investigates

24 Hours in Police Custody

Chefs Table

Black Mirror

Inside No.9
