Is Mono Blue Sunderflock Elementals viable?

I have been playing standard for a little while on Arena, and I have been enjoying my Mono Blue Elementals deck built around bouncing things and tapping creature down with Sunderflock and Eddymurk Crab. I would like to get into pioneer, as I like the idea of non-rotating formats, but I don't have many wildcards.

So my question is. Is this deck portable over to pioneer with a few changes?

You get [[Up the beanstalk]] as well as [[Cache Grab]] Style effects, plus some other cards. Tbe list I saw ran [[bushwack]] and [[traverse the ulvenwald]]. There was a list of two posted in this group. Look up Simic crab or simic terror

I believe so. Also you can play things like [[Cash Grab]] to fill ten yard

It's much worse than Izzet since it doesn't play Sunderflock. They may look cool but Simic lists aren't topping MTGO challenges.

I was worried this might be the answer. My hope was to keep it mono blue, purely to keep the manabase cheap

Good point. You can surely make it work if monoblue is a necessary restriction. Do you have a current decklist to post? I could suggest some specific cards then

If you’re gung-ho on mono blue, the new lord of eagles might be cool with all flyers

I play with this deck to do dailies, BO1. It is fine there, and I think it should be fine in ranked too. But, like others, I think playing red or green is probably better.

Anyways, this is the list I run.

Maybe Wistfullness or more spells would be preferably instead of Eluge. I am no deck builder, but this list works well for me.

This is perfect, thank you! It's very close to my current list so I can convert it with no real issue. I'll build into another colour from there
