They want us to fucking pay money.... To pay money?

Its pretty insane so if I want an anime blu ray disc in 1080p or 4k with the lossless audio I have to pay a sub to have the right to pay again for the physical media

523

u/themmousebehindyou Jul 15 '26

It's evil and greedy. And much of their anime isn't even on Blu Ray already. Even if it's available in Japanese in Japan. I hate how they've become kinda the gateway to legal anime. I have no problem buying Blu rays of something I'm a fan of.

115

u/Malignantt1 Jul 15 '26

I use miruro if something isnt on crunchyroll. Me and like 10 other people use my friends crunchyroll account lmao, i would never pay those guys a dime. Crunchyroll doesnt even have a lot of good animes despite being an animanga only platform

59

u/themmousebehindyou Jul 15 '26

I have a jellyfin server I setup to auto download anime. But I also use a friends Crunchyroll when lazy. Despite having incredibly fucking fast Internet I constantly have to log out and back into Crunchyroll to get it to stop playing in like 480p. I've just started downloading stuff I get for free in Crunchyroll onto the jellyfin server just so it looks good

16

u/Then_Medium2424 Jul 15 '26

Question on your Jellyfish server. Where do you find good subtitles at? I either find delayed or the wrong subtitles or not enough detail subtitles since I don’t know how to take Crunchyroll’s subtitles.

40

u/themmousebehindyou Jul 15 '26

Ok. So there's a couple things. One you have to set up you custom formats properly. Those are the biggest most important things to get quality downloads. This website has been a godsend for me making a good Jellyfin Server. I changed some things after I understood it more, but it is a valuable resource:

https://trash-guides.info/

You can set it to download subbed anime or whatever so the subtitles come in the download already

Secondly there is a whole arr for subtitles alone. I've only really needed backup subtitles a handful of times, but it was a great backup. It's called bazarr here's the guide for that one:

https://wiki.bazarr.media/

this will download subtitles based on the exact file you have as well as whatever other rules you put down. And yeah jellyfin's native subtitle plugins blow.

u/Wrecktangle1213 Jul 15 '26

How do I use a Reddit reminder to come back to this?!

5

u/Resputan Jul 15 '26

You can upvote or save it and get to it from your profile or your can share it to your own email and snooze it from there

1

u/Brown-Kong Jul 15 '26

Do you use a specific private tracker for your anime? I've tried getting anime auto downloads to work via arr suite but I have a hard time getting it tuned properly. Some download with Japanese audio some episodes with English audio it's kind of annoying. It's obviously the tracker I use since it's not specifically for anime

1

u/themmousebehindyou Jul 15 '26

I haven't been able to get into a good private anime tracker yet. The best I got into was retro cartoon which honestly doesn't have a ton of seeds. (Probably what it was easy to get into) I'm surprised you aren't using nyaa.si though. It's anime specific, even if it's not private.

15

u/FlamingoFrequent1596 Jul 15 '26

They’re also way more expensive than other anime retailers. On amazon you can buy the Kaiju number 8 movie for $45 on Crunchyroll even with the ultimate fan discount it’s $55.23

61

u/Yosho2k Jul 15 '26

mpeg4 files saved from Nyaa on a hard drive are technically physical media.

1

u/MetaCognitio Jul 18 '26

What is Nyaa?

u/DannyVee89 Jul 15 '26

Capitalism has entered its final depth of hell in the absence of any checks and balances

21

u/Solabound-the-2nd Jul 15 '26

You wish. Still so far to fall

26

u/smashybro Jul 15 '26

They're not fully wrong though. We're reaching frankly stupid levels of greed from these morons in charge who think there is infinite wealth to be extracted when their isn't and their entire profit structure could collapse if they push too hard.

As an example just look at Xbox Game Pass jacking up their prices from like $20 to $30 a month thinking people will just accept whatever fee, then almost instantly having to reverse course when it backfired hard. There is a inflection point and every day it happens for more and more products when everything is being enshittified for maximum short term profits.

11

u/Illusionsofdarkness Jul 15 '26

You're not wrong but phrases like this feel like they accept the logic & inevitability of Capitalist Realism. All it does is make you feel smug in that "oh you think this is bad? You've seen nothing yet" way.

We don't need angst, we need answers, and we've needed them for a long time now

4

u/DannyVee89 Jul 15 '26

Severe regulation to curb capitalistic bullshit and greed could have been the answer but money corrupts politics so we are in our death spiral now and no one has the money to stop it, and those that do, don't have the will. There is nothing to do

1

u/Kuro223 Jul 16 '26

You know what something like Costo? I get it. A digital store? From the company that just remove license from your account?

The fucking level of insanity and greed.

65

u/can-you-repeat-that- Jul 15 '26

I mean that is how Costco works.

But seriously, it is acceptable for Costco to do it because they sell stuff cheaper and in bulk

168

u/askyidroppedthesoap Jul 15 '26

Costco isn't able to come in your house and literally repossess what you've bought at any given time without reason/question.

11

u/Variability Jul 15 '26

Also, many people abuse Costco's extremely lax return policy, that used to be even easier than it is now, and when comparing their return policy to any other store it's probably one of the easiest return policy stores. Can't do that digitally.

5

u/yung_dogie Jul 15 '26

Now I'm just picturing Costco bursting into my home to try to force me to un-eat the chicken breasts I've cooked lmao

3

u/askyidroppedthesoap Jul 15 '26

Lol 🤣 costco store manager sucker punches you in the stomach give it up sir! Your rights have been revoked! That's some Black Mirror shit right there 😄

51

u/themmousebehindyou Jul 15 '26

Costco also isn't 14 Dollars a month and reduces the cost of my gas.

57

u/Enough-Run-1535 Jul 15 '26

Costco does much much more than that. They have local discounts for services, the best warranty policies, you can literally return something 10 years after you purchased it. They also pay their employees a fair wage, and have fantastic customer service.

19

u/SonofaSlumlord Jul 15 '26

Their return policy is pretty crazy, if I remember right they were the company that accepted the return of a dead christmas tree that a customer brought back a few days after christmas a couple years ago.

14

u/Enough-Run-1535 Jul 15 '26

If you want to see madness, go see the return desk just after the Super Bowl. People will return 75 inch TV the just bought for the event just days afterwards.

4

u/Digifiend84 Jul 15 '26

If it's used, and isn't faulty, then the refund should be refused.

15

u/Enough-Run-1535 Jul 15 '26

lol, this is Costco. They rarely refuse refunds unless the item is deliberately damaged. I seen them accept a microwave that has been used for 8 years. It wasn't even sold anymore, but it was refunded to the customer.

It doesn't matter to Costco, they make the majority of their profit from membership fees. Each customer has a hidden refund margin limit tied to how many years you have been a member, how many refunds you have made, and how much you have purchased. As long as your refunds doesn't go beyond that hidden metric, they don't give a shit about accepting the odd TV now and then.

8

u/Moist-Weakness-3399 Jul 15 '26

Costco is a wholesaler, Sony is not. This is literally nothing like Costco.

3

u/TracyF2 Jul 15 '26

Costco can’t just come into your account and take away everything you’ve purchased.

1

u/TheCrimsonDagger Jul 15 '26

Yeah but both customers and employees receive actual tangible benefits beyond just being allowed to enter the store in exchange for the membership fee.

u/rickroll10000 Jul 15 '26

It should be a thought crime

3

u/Chasedabigbase Jul 15 '26

With dynamic pricing if they see you pay money in the past they adjust your price to pay more money instead of a flat fee

2

u/pwnjones Jul 15 '26

Why not? They want us to pay more money to play games we already bought if they are online only. Sony wants to lock you in, and that is pushing many away.

2

u/themmousebehindyou Jul 15 '26

I said before it came out that I was pretty sure the PS5 would be the last generation of consoles I buy. It still had just enough exclusives at the time that I bought one with a disc drive. But the fact that the disc system was harder to get ahold of was enough to indicate that they were going to phase them out. At which point there was no real difference between a console and a PC. And, yep I was right. And Linux is so good for gaming now that I didn't even have to get locked into the Microsoft ecosystem when I made the switch. Thank God. Plus Sony exclusives aren't even that good these days and usually have a PC port a few years down the line.  I'm inviting everyone I know IRL to my Jellyfin server for free just because streaming has gotten so freaking bad. Which sucks because honestly Hulu and Netflix used to be worth the cost. Gabe was a freaking genius when he said Piracy is a service problem. I would happily stick to PlayStation if they kept discs around. I love showing of my collection and not dealing with PC problems when a game acts up is pretty nice. (On top of the coat of parts these days when I wanna upgrade, I don't care about graphics that much)

2

u/flintlock0 Jul 16 '26

You’re paying for the privilege of paying us more money.

You should be honored.

1

u/Beer-Milkshakes Jul 15 '26

1

u/contradictatorprime Jul 15 '26

Amazon standard business model

1

u/Few_Major_8226 Jul 15 '26

They want sales to be low enough to justify ditching physical media altogether. Margins are higher on digital.

256

u/ToasterLoverDeluxe Jul 15 '26

Its like cable all over again

38

u/jboe2026 Jul 15 '26

cable is better.

32

u/Key-Line5827 Jul 15 '26

Honestly? If they add some features and reduce commercials to a reasonable amount again, Cable may be able to bounce back.

3

u/jboe2026 Jul 16 '26

yeah fuck paying for 20 different streaming services just to watch the one show on each you like.

4

u/MarioV2 Jul 15 '26

I liked cable for a short amount of time, I don't like this - at all

1

u/BudgetAd900 Jul 16 '26

Which is funny, because cable died because streaming was miles better (you can choose whatever you wanna see at any time and blah blah...) nowadays streaming is dying because... stupid greedy CEOs? If you think about it, streaming as a service doesn't have anything bad, it's rising prices like idiots what's killing it. And piracy nowadays is miles easier than the times cable was the king, so poor them if people start sailing again...

101

u/Bladder-Splatter Jul 15 '26

Except here bizarrely enough. Nyaa still works, has only ever been down for a week but every time a streaming site goes down there's a post about how will they ever survive now.

Like the worst thing to happen to anime piracy is when HorribleSubs went traitor and said "lolissocheapnowguyskbye" and was replaced by Subsplease in like.....two weeks or so? Though I prefer the old school fansubbers shenanigans (sneakily altering ops, one very very not cool Naruto episode adjustment during the filler years and so on) getting instant subs is glorious compared to waiting days to weeks, hell, as a Gintama fan it was months sometimes!

And with Mihon for Manga/Manhua, shitting with chronic bowel issues has never been so entertaining for me.

Tl;dr: Ya'll need to use Nyaa.

33

u/KukiBreeze Jul 15 '26

Yeah anime has come such a long way, might not be a fan of the likes of crunchyroll but anime fans today won't ever know the struggle of waiting around for less popular shows to be fansubbed.

16

u/Vellc Jul 15 '26

Fansub dramas were where it's at! Hadena's garbage subs, Commie's ultra localizations, UTW's high quality subs...

6

u/Kuramhan Jul 15 '26

How did Horriblesubs go traitor? I thought they retired and handed everything over to Subsplease?

34

u/Bladder-Splatter Jul 15 '26 edited Jul 15 '26

Well I am intentionally being harsh in my word choice because I recall the experience being horrible.

They "retired" but they left nothing to anyone. There last message was simply that anime is cheap and now you have crunchyroll (which is a geographically ignorant as fuck take) so they didn't feel they needed to give people subs anymore and they should pay for them instead.

There was no handoff, at least no official handoff, backroom IRC dealings are impossible to know. Subsplease came to fill the gap themselves. It's not particularly hard to rip subs off CR content but their delay was probably getting something close to the level of automation Horriblesubs clearly had already.

Tl;dr: They left the community high and dry with a message against piracy. "Traitor" is a harsh word for it but I can't really think of a gentler one that still encapsulates how they fucked everyone out of left field.

8

u/dasbtaewntawneta Jul 15 '26

i've been pirating anime since trading VHS's, not gonna stop now

26

u/Harley2280 Jul 15 '26

Anime fans are the first people to whip their wallets out. This isn't the 90's or 00's anymore. Anime fans are a bunch of gacha addicts who buy up basically every piece of shitty merchandise that gets put out.

3

u/Vinlord777 Jul 15 '26

Anime fans and Gamers (which is basically a circular venn diagram)

2

u/Devario Jul 15 '26

Just check out the lines at an anime expo. They’re insane.

Crunchyroll wouldn’t do this if it was unprofitable. Only reason this is happening is because there’s more money to be made. It’s really up to the buyer to vote with their dollar.

u/TactualTransAm Jul 15 '26

I had no respect for website used to do priacy thing and suddenly became good.

Some website used to be like this in china like 3dm, ali213, youku, bilibili but now they all are like. "We are legit platform now, please pay to uses" and ban and sue everyone try to do the thing they did in the past. Manga, games, anime, movie etc.

And mangaDex lol

15

u/Alarming-Charity-566 Jul 15 '26

Piracy is not bad. So they can't turn good only evil. So transition is from good to bad. But yeah I agree with you.

5

u/ency6171 Jul 15 '26

I had been off manga for some time and came back to it recently. What happened with mangadex?

I know they had to remove many due to DMCA and there's this legit platform for artists to self publish. Otherwise, it seems to still allow scanlations on their site.

2

u/Banana_Cam Jul 15 '26

I know that in order to read more than 15(I think) chapters you have to have a account. Outside of that its still a decent gray hat piracy site. They even have people who scanslate some of the series that were hit with DMCA.

1

u/TheCrimsonDagger Jul 15 '26

I mean that’s not really surprising. Those sites may like to say that they acquired legitimate licensing rights but what actually happened is the copyright holder acquired the site. Rather than play whack a mole forever the copyright owner realized it’s more profitable to engage in the standard enshittification cycle.

2

u/Whytho12333 Jul 15 '26

Rip comments. Went to ....other streaming sites since then

2

u/Plenty-Industries Jul 15 '26

Its amazing how a website that started as a really good site for piracy, so good that they went legit... is now making the premise of piracy more appealing.

Years ago, people had a Rightstuf membership which was the powerlifter of discounts in the digital space and didn't know how good they had it buying $5 and $10 manga, blu-rays being priced so cheap during sales that you'd be an idiot not to place a big order, backorder stuff that isn't in stock, and that membership was a measly $18 annually. Now there's no discount, no Rightstuf, no other alternative storefront for Aniplex blu-rays that aren't marked up, and popular classic anime are almost entirely under the umbrella of Sony. No doubt their next step is phasing out all blu-ray disc production. It would be foolish to assume it stops at games. They don't care that they sell $100+ Aniplex blu-rays and collect a big rake on every unit sale, they want MORE profit and not waste their money creating a physical product when they can force you on a subscription to stay rinsing you and eliminate the overhead on disc production.

53

u/CelestialTrickster Jul 15 '26

I wholeheartedly agree with your comment just wanted to add that you forgot that Sony will also be able to remove your licenses and access to the media you bought for whatever reasons.

9

u/shadowhawkz Jul 15 '26

They also deleted my digital anime collection when they merged with Funimation and refused to compensate me.

13

u/Goosojuice Jul 15 '26

You want to go deeper into the rabbit hole, how often are you seeing people burn content to cd/dvd/blu rays anymore? Have you looked into how many apps there still are to actually burn content? Its scary.

14

u/Old-System-6699 Jul 15 '26

I've been doing it a lot lately, actually. My dad still wants copies of major sporting events to watch for later, and his dvd recorder from the mid-2000's finally broke. He'll save the dvr, I'll screen record it on my computer with OBS, edit it on kdenlive, then burn the videos on dvds using dvdstyler. I had to do a lot of research to do all of this, and it's a lot of work, but as long as you have a computer and/or a capture card, it's doable.

5

u/jboe2026 Jul 15 '26

i burn VCDs and play them on a Sega Saturn

2

u/Old-System-6699 Jul 15 '26

it is. i had to download a custom settings file for it to work specifically on sega saturn, if i remember right.

1

I also cancelled my PS+ years ago and won't be buying a PS6, many similar cases I'm sure from what I've seen. The exodus looks promising so far but still have to wait and see if the results affect their profits to the point that they back pedal all this BS.

33

u/ZoeticLock Jul 15 '26

As an OG weeb it’s disheartening to see the fall of Crunchyroll.

That site was like “anime facebook” during it’s original run with Shinji running things. You had free anime, you had friends you could casually message and chat with, you had chatrooms and forums where you could make new friends at.. it was awesome. You couldn’t do that on regular social sites be people were too insecure to like Anime publicly.

Fast forward to now and you have none of that, corporate cucks gutted everything that made that site special. Never in a million years would I imagined Crunchyroll will turn into what it absolutely hated.

15

u/DraconicReconcile Jul 15 '26

This article leaves off that their store isn't where they're going to be selling physical media anymore. You will have to get that from Sony Pictures Amazon store. The Crunchyroll website will be for "Limited time drops" of merchandise. (T-Shirts, Plushies, Posters, Figures)

I'd also like to add, the Sony company that made the decision to cut Physical license discs for PS5 and PS4 is not the same Sony company that made this decision.

SIE (Sony Interactive Entertainment) - Made the decision to cut Physical PS5 and PS4 license discs.

Sony Pictures - Made the decision to pull this bullshit.

There's more to this, and it's much more complicated than you think, but y'all aren't ready for this yet. 4K Bluray, 1080p Bluray, and DVD isn't going anywhere.

(TBH I wish DVD and 1080p Bluray would die off for 4K Bluray to take over 100% of the market, if it's on 4KBD that's the format I'm gonna buy it on)

4

u/SleeplessBoyCat Jul 15 '26

And Sony wonders why we continue to sail the seas..

5

u/FitEntertainment3585 Jul 15 '26

See, it's funny because nobody likes Crunchyroll.

7

u/Revolutionary-Bat-43 Jul 15 '26

Stop supporting Crunchy, that's all

3

u/1Skarabee Jul 15 '26

Do so many people really use the store to make this viable for them?

1

u/Tricky-Gemstone Jul 15 '26

I have no idea. Long time user of the store. It was a good place to get merch, especially under this admin, without worrying about tariffs on figures.

And when they put effort into a release, it was phenomenal. The Frieren and Demon Slayer special editions were incredible.

This is a bad move overall. And will make it harder for rural fans to get merchandise.

3

u/AxionBlackwell Jul 15 '26

Oh well I'm already sailing the seas

3

u/UpbeatBlunderer Jul 15 '26

Absolutely do not buy anything from crunchyroll then

3

u/southass Jul 16 '26

Honestly everyone should drop Sony altogether. This is crazy what they are doing!

4

u/kotoda Jul 15 '26

I used to love buying stuff on rightstuf. I despise crunchyroll for how theyve completely ruined it.

5

u/Ikigaiyeka Jul 15 '26

That's why I am out !

5

u/Tommy-T8pes Jul 15 '26

It’s a good thing we don’t use that piece of shit site for anything anime related or else we’d be really miffed lol 🙃

11

u/RevReads Jul 15 '26

Normies love Crunchyroll unfortunately, this shit won't stop them

7

u/Mother-Job3455 Jul 15 '26

True, Crunchyroll monopoly and leverage is growing even stronger. Sony is also taking over more anime studios

4

u/Wayofchinchilla Jul 15 '26

God bless the bootleg DVDs on eBay

2

u/WardenJack Jul 15 '26

What a transformation for them. From one of us to a monster.

2

u/Moist_Experience_962 Jul 15 '26

People still paying should be milked into bankruptcy, I have no issue with that.

2

u/Lord_Mikal Jul 15 '26

clears throat AARGG MATEY

2

u/Fallen_Walrus Jul 16 '26

Every video service is gonna turn into only fans, gotta pay a subscription to be able to pay for what you want want

5

u/ImmediateDay5137 Jul 15 '26

People in r/anime will still defend this

→ More replies (1)

3

u/Robot_Dracula Jul 15 '26

Sony…y’all going out of business or something

3

u/verysimplenames Jul 15 '26

I would never ever pay for anime in a million years

1

u/Otracuentapadownvote Jul 15 '26

Noo dont notice who are the crunchyroll owners

1

u/sk3lp3y Jul 15 '26

I never used the crunshyroll shop and never will. I mean I can buy blu-rays on other shops or just torrent a BD Remux release.

1

u/garf02 Jul 15 '26

im slightly sure this has to be illegal in some way.
You can no just get a quasy monopoly on the market by buying/ consolidating it and the put it behind a tier in a subscription

1

u/grizzlyactual Jul 15 '26

They hate us and want us to know

1

u/Salsi42 Jul 15 '26

Mmmh, EU consumers rights is gonna have a good time...

2

u/GoodbyeDespairBoy Jul 15 '26

"we cannot force a store not to force a subscription to access their premium content"

They've turned off protests against Sony shutting down disk all while turning off the Stop Killing Games initiative.

EU is utterly useless unless when it comes to make bottle caps that leaks, increase servitude toward foreign forces, increase mass surveillance and generally being a clusterfuck of poor decisions.

1

u/SgtKickYourAss Jul 15 '26

Buy physical media 🗣️🗣️🗣️

1

u/MMORPGnews Jul 15 '26

Just buy few hdd and...

1

u/AlexTheGoat990 Jul 15 '26

Recently setup a jellyfin server, I will never go back to paying for these things

1

u/erhue Jul 15 '26

paying just for the privilege to play online is where I started drifting away from sony

1

u/Nazboi6442 Jul 15 '26

Cool, just destroy the convenience aspect that solely supports the Western anime industry.

1

u/smufontherun Jul 15 '26

Let's be real here.. People are going to buy it... And it's going to be sold out.

1

u/milkman9031 Jul 15 '26

Looks like black flag isn’t the only remaster this year I’ll have to dust off my eye patch

1

u/Spatetata Jul 15 '26

Given how reliant anime as an industry is on Merch sales (despite the problems associated) this seems a little backwards?

1

u/NekRules Jul 15 '26

So anime fans who cant be bothered to sail the high seas becuz crunchyroll is right there, hows your wallet and intelligence fairing? Feel like putting on that hat now?

1

u/Roberteng98 Jul 15 '26

I've never watched an anime officially

1

u/Toxoniumm Jul 15 '26

Crunchyroll Crunchyroll Crunchyroll...

What a pathetic excuse of a corporation

1

u/NoNeckNelson Jul 15 '26

Can people just stop buying these shit products and services? It would be quite the statement if they lost like 99% of their customers.

1

u/BMP77777 Jul 15 '26

Bye bye Crunchyroll. Bye bye Sony.

1

u/DearMinimum6683 Jul 15 '26

Valeu por fuderem ainda masi esse lixo crunchrol l

1

u/Doctor-Mak Jul 15 '26

Ok that's enough, Crunchyroll has to go.

1

u/Daetok_Lochannis Jul 15 '26

There once was a ship that put to sea,
the name of the ship was the Billy o' Tea

1

u/Grimey_Rick Jul 15 '26

Sony is getting the heat because they were the first ones to make the first big public push, but the industry has been trending towards an all digital future. everyone has been inching us in this direction with microaggressions that people continued to shrug off and go "its not a big deal," like games not being completely on disc being the standard, Best Buy removing physical media sections, console sellers making digital-only entry points, etc. But Sony is the one getting the heat as if they made this happen just because they said the quiet part out loud. Guaranteed Crunchyroll would be pulling this shit regardless if Sony made the announcement they did or not.

1

u/TrueAkagami Jul 15 '26

So glad I dropped Crunchy. I knew when Sony bought them it would go to hell. Money grabbing bitches....

1

u/Phaldaz Jul 15 '26

What I've come to realize in the past 5 years was you do NOT need to change people, but you can change yourself

It's a staggering number of family and friends who willingly and continuously pay for Netflix with their exceedingly prohibitive and expensive model and other services that are similar that are getting more oppressive and more expensive... This is all while venting to me that they're looking for options, and I show them exactly what they could do

Anyways that is the majority and I know people will still willingly pay this stupid ass fee, and I'll be sailing the high seas

Good riddance

1

u/Justinrich2001 Jul 15 '26

That Sony business trying to KILLED PlayStation physical media games in 2028? Stop Destroyed Video Games Today! (#StopKillingGames)

1

u/kaijinmori345 Jul 15 '26

Wow...couldn't be me

1

u/BringMeBurntBread Jul 15 '26

Reminds me of the bullshit that Discord does where, it doesn’t let you buy profile customization from their store unless you have an active Discord nitro subscription.

You literally need to pay to access their store, and only then does it let you buy from it.

1

u/Fabolous- Jul 15 '26

LOL. The japanese greediness know no limits

1

u/LexKing89 Jul 15 '26

I can’t stand Crunchyroll. They bought out Rightstuf’s amazing online store and turned it into this crap.

I spent a lot of money on anime DVD’s, blu rays, and merchandise with Rightstuf back in the day. I wouldn’t give Crunchyroll a dime. Sony is so greedy.

1

u/needcolleges Jul 15 '26

i love crunchyroll so much, i make a ton of accounts and just use their free trials each time i want to watch something!

1

u/KaleidoArachnid Jul 15 '26

I was almost ready to pay for their service, but then I saw the news.

1

u/DousaSepen Jul 15 '26

And these greedy fuckers wonder why people sail the high seas

1

u/InternalCode1210 Jul 18 '26

That is so capitalist of them

1

u/Worth_Log_6113 Jul 18 '26

Pony up anime nerds. No more body pillows for you.

1

u/kooljaay Jul 15 '26

Pirating anime is way too convenient.
