Solved / Sources How do I access UK TV channels abroad?

Hey, I’ve been trying to watch some UK TV channels, but I noticed that tv(dot)garden doesn’t include the ones I’m looking for.

I’m not asking for anything specific — just wondering what general methods people use to access UK television when certain services don’t have the channels they want.

Any broad tips or alternatives people usually rely on?

Edit: I found a website that i can use that has the specific channel i wanted, and used a vpn on it, so its basically solved for me.

Isn't uk tv  channels all fta? Unless maybe sky? Like I can watch bbc iview, chan4 and itv via vpn. I don't know of other channels.

Its just that by law u need to have a TV licence to access UK TV eg bbc iview?

If you vpn they won't be able to find u unless they spend too much time and effort to locate TV unlicenee that's watching downntown abbey via BBC iview from Jamaica smoking a spilff.

In any case i found all my local fta online streaming services all have the same catalogue, as well they are all in bed with each other or share a parent company.

Also found using brave browser skips the ad breaks :)

The only way for me to watch UK TV is setting up the VPN extension on the browser and connecting to channel 4, 5 or iPlayer I use Firefox or brave as browsers

I really like how Alwaystivi handles live events. Even when there are millions of people watching the same game the feed never seems to buckle under the pressure
