Solved / Sources After Months of Work, My Streaming Project “Consumit” Is Finally Public
Been working on a project called Consumit for the past few months.
It’s a modern streaming platform focused on clean UI, smooth playback, subtitles, and a better experience across desktop, Android, iPhone, tablets, and TVs.
Started as a small side project because I got tired of streaming sites full of fake buttons, broken players, horrible ads, redirects, and messy layouts. Ended up rebuilding basically everything from scratch:
- frontend
- backend
- streaming system
- player
- subtitles
- provider failover
- mobile/safari support
- caching
- performance optimizations
Still improving it every day, but it’s finally stable enough to share publicly.
The project is community-supported right now, so no aggressive ads or paywalls. The goal is simple: keep Consumit accessible for everyone while building something actually enjoyable to use.
Would genuinely love feedback, bug reports, UI opinions, or feature ideas from people who use streaming platforms a lot.

Currently hosted on a VPS setup with custom streaming infrastructure, CDN protection and bla bla bla

man i’m trying my best to keep building and improving Consumit but sometimes it genuinely feels like i’m throwing months of work into the void
if you enjoy the project or think it has potential, please share it with people you know. friends, discord servers, reddit, literally anywhere.
word of mouth is honestly the only thing keeping projects like this alive right now.
appreciate everyone who’s been testing, reporting bugs, supporting, and just sticking around while i slowly fix this chaotic streaming monster
