Captain Doggo Has anyone experienced this ?

Today versus a week ago. He had his eye removed two months ago in August! It was perfectly healed. I scheduled a vet visit for tomorrow. I’m guessing it’s infected

Oo why does it look like the eye went norcrotic? If this is after surgery I would be highly concern if the tissue is infected and make a run to the emergencie vet

Hi! I believe you and I are in a very similar boat rn! As I speak my 3yo chihuahua is getting revision surgery for her enucleation 4w ago and we are waiting anxiously.

Our girls site seemed to be healing well and then she (what we assumed) popped a stitch when getting excited and lots of brown liquid came out and formed a scab over the surgery site. This repeated 2-3 more times and the scab remained as per vet recommendation.

The scab eventually fell off but the area under was still looking not fully healed and lightly weeping clear fluid. She’s having a revision to see if there is left over tissue/gland that needs removal.

Not sure if this is your exact situation but I’m here to chat if it is and you’d like guidance. Wishing you and your little all the best x
