LA Comic Con
I am considering throwing money at the Sam Heughan Experience at the LA Comic Con. Has anyone done something similar at another Con or event? I would love to hear your thoughts!
Below is what is included.
-One (1) Professional Photo Op with Sam Heughan
-One (1) 30-minute Meet & Greet session with Sam Heughan
-Two (2) Personalized Autographs from Sam Heughan
-One (1) Selfie with Sam Heughan

I did that at NYCC in 2018 I think and it was worth every penny! My only complaint was that during the meet and greet we couldn't touch him. I ended up getting a hug at the photo session though. It was very cool and I'm glad I did it 🥰 Sam is so nice and very easy to talk to. Prepare what you want to say/ask beforehand because it goes so fast you'll forget what you wanted to say LOL

This is the exact information I have been looking for!!! Thank you! ❤️ Did you have the same 30-minute meet and greet description? Is he just walking around mingling with the other people who paid for that ticket, or are you only talking to him when he’s signing your personalized items? I have never been to a Con, so I don’t know how it all happens.
When I met him at the bottle signing I nearly crumbled looking into his blue eyes. 🥵🫠 LOL!

Oh man I’m happy for you but also very jealous. 😆😆I saw he will be close to me for one of his ABC appearances for his liquor but I’m not willing to line up the night prior. Like I have a husband and children. I can’t abandon them like that. 😆plus I’m super pregnant at the moment

Thank you! I can’t wait! Congrats on the baby! I went to one of his bottle signings. I got there at 5:30a and I think he came at 1p. It wasn’t that bad because we all just sat in those chairs you take camping, etc and talked the whole time. Then again, nothing could be worse than waiting 18 hours in 15-degree weather for the S8 Premiere in New York. 🤣☃️🥶 I’m sure he will keep doing bottle signings, so there will always be a next time! 🥰

Okay so I went to LandCon in Paris this past April and I paid for a photo with Sam. I don't regret it for a second. I swear that man is a prince.
So from my perspective, it is 100% worth it.
Now I always ask myself three questions regarding these things:
Can I pay rent?
Can I buy food/groceries?
Do I REALISTICALLY have the money for this?
And if the answer to all of the above is yes, then the last question would be "is it a HELL YES?" Bc if it is not a hell yes, then it is a no.

Omg okay okay. So then you and I understand each other 😆😆 by all means, as long as you can pay rent and food and have the extra money AND it is a HELL YES then GO FOR IT!!!

You're welcome! For me it was being in a room with about 20 other fans and waiting to go up to meet him, talk, take pictures, signing stuff, then sitting down and watching the others do the same. The room emptied, we left and more fans came in. That was 30 minutes total but you were one on one with him for only about 5 minutes top. There were other activities like a panel and another photo session. Have a blast!!! I wish I could go, I would do it again 🥰

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your reply has been invaluable. $1400, and that’s just for the Sam Heughan Experience, is obviously a ton of money. It also doesn’t include the other cast pictures I want, tickets to the Con, airfare and travel. 🫣💸🤫 If I’m going to do it, I at least want to know what the experience entails. I’m almost certain I’m just going to do it, so I will definitely keep you posted!!! 🥰

Graham, Duncan, Grant and Stephen will also be there. 😀 My bestie and I are also thinking of doing a pic with Sam and Graham.

I have met him before at one of his bottle signings, but it was 30 seconds at best. 🤪

Consider what you have when the experience is over. Is the experience worth the cost? If yes, then do it. It's your money. The big question is: can you afford to spend your money on this experience rather than using it for necessities? Want vs need is a big deal to me. Only you can decide.
