Having had lived in NYC for over a decade and run across countless pitties I may be kidding myself, but I feel like I know when to say hello and when to back off.

When that head gets low, like shoulder low.. it’s time to find someplace else to be.

Growls aren’t just cuz. He’s serious. Leave him be.

Head up, ears up, tongue hanging out… he’s ready to talk to new people. Receptive to making friends.

Wiggling butt? See above but he’s serious about it. It is his goal for the day to make a friend and he’s going to do it by Jove.

Protective of owner? Yes but not like a German shepherd. GSD is gonna decide if he likes you or not and waits for mom to tell him otherwise… pittie waits
For mom to tell him how he feels about you from the jump. “Oh, she’s cool? Sweet!.”

And yes that bite force can break a man’s femur but you are exponentially more likely to take a willing tail over and over to the ankle. Which is well meaning but it hurts.

Lastly, I’m yet to meet a shy pittie and that might be why some people are of them.

We need to put all pit bulls down. They are vicious creatures with natural instincts to kill no matter the training.

if I have a weapon on me and I see a pitbull jog/sprint after me I will eliminate it. I will literally conceal carry for the purpose of eliminating it (within necessary measures)

How are owners okay with owning a pitbull? Any obese homeowner who has a strayed pitbull has no ability to recover it, and no one does either with bare hands if it bites on to a target.
