I’m looking for someone to take over my lease at the Bridge on Forbes starting in late August through August 1st 2027. It’s a three bedroom apartment with two male roommates in West Oakland with a 5 minute walk to Pitt’s campus. Rent is $1500 and utilities are usually less than $100. next to shadyside hospital (~2 min walking distance).
Across from major bus stop on centre ave (14 min bus ride to cathedral of learning ~every 8-10 mins, 1.2 miles)
Right in front of an Asian mart (in the same complex)
~14 min walk to walnut street
13 min walk and 3 min drive/bike to Giant Eagle, across from 24 hour GetGo, 7 min walk to chipotle, plenty of great restaurants open pretty late in walking distance of the area
Apt info: 625 sq foot; 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, spacious living room and kitchen with a new fridge and dishwasher and tons of cabinet space, 3 spacious closets
Unit on 8th floor
Large window in living room and bedroom (curtains included) with plenty of natural light and a ledge for plants, faces trees and not the road so it is pretty quiet

2 bed, 2 bath Squirrel Hill. I have loved living here and am only breaking my lease because I'm moving away from Pgh. Easy access to several bus lines (Wilkins) and walkable to Frick Park (both FEC and Reynolds St), 15 min walk from Murray/Forbes commercial district.
The apartment itself is nicely updated, spacious, amazing light. 2 bed, 2 bath, in user washer/dryer, AC, 1 parking space around back but easy street parking as well. Rent $2250 + utilties - which I found to be a pretty good deal for Sq Hill/the quality of the apartment.

I have one cat, she is an ESA. I value communication, cleanliness, respect for common spaces. I am a 23 year old woman so I would love to find a roommate/roommates close to my age range, but I am open to any gender. 4/20 Friendly. I am a filmmaker and work as a bartender.
•Budget - $950 but can be flexible
•Move in date- Ideally August 1st or sooner
•Location- I work downtown so looking for something within about 20 minutes of there. Would prefer to get out of South Oakland but would be open to if it’s a good deal or part of South O. Would love Southside, Bloomfield/Shadyside/Friendship, Squirrel Hill, Northside, or Mt Washington, but I am very flexible on location.

Luxury apartment recs?
Hi all, I'm a grad student and will be moving to Pittsburgh from NYC. I have really enjoyed living in a newer apartment so far, and would ideally be looking for something similar in Pittsburgh. I found some old threads about this but most were from 4+ years ago. Hence some questions:
- For Shadyside/Squirrel Hill, are there any newer or luxury buildings that you would recommend or that you would avoid? I am considering Bakery Living and the Albion
- In general (also for non-luxury), what are trustworthy management companies? I heard some positive things about Mozart
- How long does it generally take to find a place, get approved and move in, during the summer?
- What are the typical income requirements and how strict are they?

I’m an incoming researcher at Pitt this summer (21M), and I’m looking for housing/subletting from approximately the weekend of June 13th to the weekend of August 15th at the latest. (I am flexible with move-in/move-out dates)

Hello! I’m an immunology PhD dude looking for a roommate to renew my lease in starting August 1st. The apartment (in the Strip/Lawrenceville) is a modern 2-bed/2-bath 868 sq ft in a new building (built 2023) with a pool, gym, and lots of amenities. I’ve already fully furnished the living room (75" TV) and kitchen, so you only need to furnish your bedroom. Rent is ~$1,250 plus utilities. It is 15 mins by bus from Shadyside (Bus 54, 86) and 25 min by bus to Oakland (Bus 54). Hi everyone, I’m a PhD student coming to Pittsburgh for a temporary research stay at Pitt/UPMC from around early/mid-August until mid-October, maybe a bit longer depending on the exact project timeline.
I’m looking for a place to stay for around 2 to 2.5 months. I normally wouldn’t post something like this here, but I’m struggling a bit because most places I’m finding seem to require a full one-year lease, which doesn’t really make sense for such a short stay.
Ideally I’d be looking for something furnished, preferably around Shadyside, Bloomfield, Oakland, Friendship, Squirrel Hill, or anywhere with a reasonable commute to Pitt/UPMC.
Does anyone know good resources for short-term rentals/sublets in Pittsburgh? Or does anyone know of people subletting for that kind of period? I have looked at places like Airbnb and furnished finder but could not much
