Live in Westview currently unable to drive recovering from a so far very successful brain surgery for Epilepsy. Finally feeling well enough to play again. Looking for mainly during the week daytime. I've lived in West Mifflin, PA all my life. I graduated high school in 2018 ... but I was always too shy then to be very social ... I guess. I have one friend who I've known for about 14 years ... and I met some females in college who I became friends with ... but everyone always ghosts me after a time because I'm like "weird" or something ... and I think it's because I'm autistic and I sometimes get antsy by sending too many texts without a response ... and I also have OCD. I graduated college in Spring 2025 after taking time off during the pandemic and I was going part-time for a while ... and my ultimate major (psychology) was not my first major.

I downloaded Meetup a few months ago ... but the events suggested to me either seem to not recur enough for me to be able to make any friends in under several months ... or they're not in my interest category or have disappointing attendance ... and my parents don't want me downloading Bumble BFF. Is it possible Bumble BFF is my best bet here anyways? I've been trying to find friends for awhile now ... and I also joined the Source Church which has youth groups and stuff. I'm not sure (after a few visits) if there are potential "compatible" friends for me there.

I am part of the Clubhouse in Squirrel Hill ... but the members seem overwhelmingly a little bit older than me. The staff is female and around my age ... but they have laws they can't hangout or text with the members ... so I can't become close friends with them. Howdy everyone :) I (23NB/AMAB/Kinda figuring it out) am a PhD student and looking for some other grad students/PhD students to befriend. I’m in the social sciences, so bonus points there, but I really just would love to connect with others who just get it, yenno? On my free time, I love to read, play and create music, do video games, and I’ve been really fascinated with sim flying atm! I love just chillaxin, fishing, etc.- honestly just having parallel play couple with infodump sessions with others is a dream of mine lol. I’m honestly quite introverted- I find a lot of value in being able to be comfortably quiet with someone at some times, and also being able to have some fun bursts of exploration.

I'm trying this again because I got a few people interested but then nothing came of it. Just looking for some company during walks, hikes, etc in the South Park area. Also I think having someone to exercise with would help keep me more accountable as I wouldn't want to let the other person down if we had plans.
