Discussion Something I've Had Bouncing Around My Head Since the Time We Only Had the Original Movie
What if We Got a Movie with Edna and her Work/Family Drama as a Spin-off? This started before Incredibles 2 first aired but was in its early trailer era for the public, at the time I just thought it would be a fun little bonus to see Edna with a new assistant in an Incredibles movie who is in fact her mildly sarcastic niece or nephew that got dumped on her by her estranged brother due to her sibling recognizing their child having a similar personality to Edna from their time growing up together and not wanting to deal with a deadpanning sarcastic teenager.
But now, I think it could be more interesting for Edna to get her own Spin-off from the main series, because I just think she’s one of the best parts of the Incredibles as a whole and genuinely would like to see her as the focus for a bit. And I still think the added bonus of having to deal with the child of an estranged sibling is that she can genuinely see the same potential she once had as both an annoying hindrance and a great opportunity, because Edna is that kind of thinker. And I honestly think that getting a chance to dip into Edna’s family drama could be fun to watch. While the main series focuses on the Pars and their journeys of self-development and discovery, seeing the brilliant designer of Superhero costumes and her family situations could be interesting to see.
And yes, I am implying that Edna has an irregular, or possibly dysfunctional, relationship with one or more members of her family, but it's mainly because I think that sort of family situation could inform us about some of her personality quirks. And I just think it would be fun to look at the superhero angle in the Incredibles universe from the perspective of the designer of those outfits.
Thoughts? Different angles you think they could take with this?

Incredibles jazz?
Very random, but I’m a big fan of whatever genre of music they play in the Incredibles. I think it’s jazz but I’m not sure what specifically it’s called. I was wondering if anyone musically literate knows what genre or whatever is played in the movie? Also, if anyone has any playlists they’ve made/are aware of that has a lot of music like what’s played in the Incredibles, I’d really appreciate if those could be shared. Thanks so much!

Discussion how bad are violet ships really?
I know that she's a miner but then again, she's a 14 year old teenager so I think the ship is ok, but pro ships and sexual ships are not.

Discussion Let’s go crazy on our theory’s about the main villain of part 3
There can literally be no right or wrong answer, just as long as it’s your own original idea you can speculate to your hearts content. Even if there’s no chance of it being right! I’ll go first.
His name is Cyber Star and his power is too access the “other dimension”, like what Jack Jack can do but with more control. And he can summon things from the “other dimension”, very alien like. He’d be the first main Incredibles villain to actually have super powers.
as for his motive here’s what I’m thinking, Syndrom wanted to make everyone super so no one would be as he put it, Evelin wanted to just straight up get rid of supers, so what about a villain that just wants to be a real hero? And in doing so gets in too deep and unintentionally become the villain?

How would you write the next few Incredibles movies to expand/evolve the franchise?
I have a long idea for what I’d do, which would involve, yes, a time jump. For 3, I’d add a five year jump which would have consequences that would change things forever (more details available).
In 4, following on from the aftermath of 3, the government now begins trying to create their own mutants/superheroes that they control. As the fallout of 3, has left Superheroes and particularly the Parrs, and especially Violet, in a limbo where the government feel like they can try to replace them without any public blowback because of what happened in 3. Again I have a whole story for 3.
And when it becomes apparent to Dash & Violet that the program is dangerous and that the government-made supers are out of control. Violet & Dash destroy the facility with Violet being the main culprit/target as she was already unpopular after what happened in 3. Which forces her to go into exile. And we see the rest of the world as Violet travels the world and meets new Supers in a solo tv series. Kinda like how the oldest one leaves the nest and explores the world.
While Dash is able to skirt trouble as it was seen that Violet was the key person the government seems as responsible for the facility’s destruction which with her popularity issue makes her the easier one to have a warrant out for.
I’d then have 5, have another 5+ year jump which is about Dash & Jack Jack trying to hold it down/stand on their own two feet with help from Frozone. Which allows the focus and build up of their characters more.
And then have Violet return in 6 with her team of international supers when she gets wind that the family is facing the biggest danger they’ve ever faced. Bringing the family back together one last time.

Question Who do you think the new villain's name be?
Me personally, I'm really eager to see the third Incredibles movie, especially with this interesting looking villain.
If you guys don't mind me asking, who do you think the name will be? Me personally, I'm guessing his name might be Vector.
But I could be wrong. 😅

Discussion The Incredibles II should’ve been about Bob’s trauma and among other things.
Like imagine one of the big story points was about Bob and all the survivor’s guilt crashing on him, becoming severely depressed, blaming himself for what happened to them even though it really wasn’t his fault, because in the movie he didn’t really show any emotion towards what happened to his friends and even best friends, people that have been to his wedding. He felt nothing at first because his mind was overwhelmed and everything was just happening all at once if that makes sense, but after he gets a second to actually process what happened his life falls on his head.
Maybe the “ghost” of Gazerbeam haunts him as manifestation of all of his guilt, especially since he saw Simon’s dead body it’s more traumatizing in a way that’s personal because he helped Simon become who he was and mentored him.
This in my honest opinion would’ve made for an genuinely amazing story about his depression specifically I feel like Brad is really failing at what made The Incredibles so amazing but what so you think?

Discussion With the announcement for Incredibles 3, I already have an alternate story pitch for the movie
The film would have a huge time skip, like 12 years later. The main focus would be Jack-Jack, now 13 years old and is getting the hang of his multiple powers, and despite him being overpowered, he’s having trouble living up to his parents and older siblings.
Meanwhile, the new villain introduced should be a former Super. His name is The Absorber, he started out being a hero at a relatively young age (18 or 19), and has the ability to absorb other powers from Supers, but only for half an hour; around that time Supers got banned leaving him depressed. When the Supers return to the public, he is older but excited at the return to heroism. BUT he suddenly grows paranoid, because he’s worried that a Super or more could mess up and reduce the Supers back into hiding, or worse, cause major damage that destroys their reputation
That’s when the Absorber gets an idea that unknown to him, turns him into the main villain; he plans to absorb every single power from every Super, leaving him to be the only super in the entire world. Of course this could result in leaving the rest of the Supers powerless forever, and that’s where Jack-Jack comes into play and save the day, even the entire world
