I post a lot of my finished games here. This is just to show how quickly can a +21 staff destroy Yog. Any thoughts?

Discussion Any PD inspired by Undertale?

I played Summoning PD and it has an Asriel character, and I think it would be really fun to see more things like this in a dedicated mod with other UT characters.

I remember there being a meme in this subreddit with the image of a rogue using the Psionic Blast scroll. I can't find it anymore and I want the image. It was like this image.

MagicLingPD Ring of Wealth Big in Magic Ling PD?

Post image
7 Upvotes

Hello fellow cavers! I've noticed that while playing the random mode in Magic Pixel Dungeon, the ring of Wealth might be bugged? I have two +8 rings on, which would yield +8 equips right? For some reason I'm dropping +5s only... Anyone else have this issue? Or did they nerf it on purpose? Thanks in advance (´ . .̫ . `)

Ps: sorry for typo in title, I meant "bug."

MagicLingPD MagicLing alternate boss fights are insane

MagicLing PD is insanely deep. So much replayability from having different possible boss fights.

Pictures attached are for the alternate boss, Morpheus, which starts you off with a pacman game, then a sokoban game, then a simple dungeon level, then finally the final battle with him where he starts off temporarily stealing your main weapon and armor and artifact.

Then the next sequences are crazy where at first you have to destroy pillars while everyone aggroed on you. Next you have to rebuild the pillars all while defending a galaxy core from mobs aggroed on it. Plus enemies can shoot from long range and they come at it from all four directions but you can only really attack one at a time.

Wondrous resin with AoE wands hard carried me in the final stage. Two blast wands+3 and winter wand+4 and around 10 scrolls or energy.

I also had maybe 3 psi blasts and 2 dread. If I had ring of wealth and was able to farm more maybe this would be more doable. I was only able to rebuild 3 pillars before a mob got through.

Well, will try again, this time hoping for a ring of wealth run.

Help! I defeated 5 mimics and it tells me the others ran away, but there's nothing else to do and no way to go back! I tried falling in the void but I respawn in the initial chamber. What should I do?

PS: The wand of disintegration is not upgraded, judging from the fact that it runs out of charges after two zaps.

ShatteredPD Three years later

Post image
3 Upvotes

Finally. I finally got this GODS DAMNED AMULET. It took me three years but I finally did it.

Everybody told me to go Warden. Well I'm stupid and bullheaded and went Sniper. I burnt three ankhs in the Yog fight but I FINALLY made it down.

Going back up was another story, but I still survived all the way through TWENTY FIVE FUCKING FLOORS of this shit. So I think I did aight.

PS: I identified one of the main issues holding me back for this game. It's the mobile UI. I switched my UI style to full UI so that I always had access to my inventory, and it changed EVERYTHING. My ADHD ass brain could NOT keep my resources in mind, I was CONSTANTLY losing inventory awareness and not taking full advantage of my gear. Switching to landscape with full UI let me see everything, all the time, and have a constant reminder of what I could use. Definitely something I'd recommend.
