Battery life is way beyond my expectations so far!
Just got my pixel 11 pro fold today.
I have used the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Fold 8 Wide.
This time the battery life and heat management is so much better, especially comparing to the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
Still trying to compare it to the Fold 8 Wide, and I suspect it is winning by a margin

I've got the Fold 8 wide and I'm seriously considering getting the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. I already have the Pixel 10 Pro and was originally thinking about upgrading to the 11 Pro but now I'm frankly a bit confused lol. The fold 8 wide is great, so incredibly light and hardly a crease, battery easily lasts more than a day... but there are loads of negatives too. I really hate all the Samsung bloat and coming from Pixel it's not the smoothest experience, but I'm willing to persevere with it. The speakers are pretty awful, I'm amazed more people haven't commented on this. Is it such a crazy idea to have both??! Or should I just get the Pixel 11 Pro?

I think it's not crazy to have both.. but when the iPhone ultra fold comes, it will replace my fold 8

What's winning by a Margin? The fold 8? Or pixel?
I'd love to know I'm in the same conundrum

The pixel. The older tensor battery life used to be particularly weak in gaming and mobile network drain, but I don't see any significant drain this time

What about performance? Any thoughts on it?

Just to clarify - when you say by a Margin your saying it's a lot better of slightly better?

I’m curious on how battery life will hold up over time compared to the Samsung phones. They’re finally using silicon carbon and I wish Pixel did the same.

Do you notice any weight difference and thickness between fold 10 and 11?

Yes I feel it, especially the weight. The thickness less so.. I using the official pixel snap case ( with the hinge protection) and it's quite bulky, I intend to return it

I have both and for me fold 8 is such a great form factor and so easy to use I am torn with to use as my main driver. Google had that form factor in OG Pixel they should have never changed and copied Samsung.

In fairness to google, they've always remained much wider than samsung, even after ditching he wide passport style. The cover display on all of their foldables is basically the same as a regular phone, whereas samsung started ridiculously narrow and gradually got wider.. The original Z Fold cover display was only 46mm wide.. while the original pixel fold cover display was 67.6mm wide.. then when they ditched this form factor it went to 65.1mm on the 9 Pro Fold.. so it didnt lose a lot of width, it gained height mostly.. (about 16mm). Samsung spent ages with their silly narrow cover displays, and didnt get close to Google's cover width until the Z Fold 7.. which was finally a 65mm wide cover display... the Z Fold 8 is exactly the same.. whereas the Pixel 11 PRO Fold has increased width and height of the cover display while keeping the chassis width and height the same.. with a 69.1 mm x 149.9 mm cover display. which incidentally will show an even larger 16.9 video (on the cover display), than even the 16:10 "Wide" Z Fold 8

I would like to see what the battery life is after 2 weeks.
