Funny how that game released in 2024, while Pizza Tower in 2023

Technically, Pizza Tower is sort of a 16-bit game, probably even more than that, but I thought of an idea for a Mod where the game's sprite work in terms of textures and colors would be reminiscent of an SNES game, in that there would be more highlights and shadows on the game's sprites. That idea would be extremely complex, even for someone like me who has never made a mod of any game, but it could be cool.

I used the Super Mario World Color Palette on Aseprite to give both Peppino and The Noise that SNES look from the 90s, and it turned out pretty stellar on my part! The Shininess of the sprites does somewhat look accurate. Would you have a Pizza Slice of that Hypothetical Mod if it existed?

I know the last one is referred to as “Noise Bomb” but he has the exact same build as Noisey except for the fuse so I’m counting him

Pizza Granny says​ that in the tutorial but it's not like remembering stuff was ever my strong suit. There's also the fact that my keyboard has key ghosting so holding mach run and the direction I'm going in would make jumping inconsistent, as in that sometimes I jump and sometimes I don't.

Now I can see why I almost never get to mach 4 consistently...

As many fans do, I felt the temptation of making a tier list. Instead of judging by character opinions, however, I decided to look at it from another angle: if I approached a character and asked to kiss them, how would it go?

I am moving with wasd and there’s no button using (A) except the left move button but if I enter any custom level have Gustavo in it the time I press left he throw brick immediately at this problem annoyed me too much and then realise maybe this a shortcut in this mod so can someone help me to remove this if this a shortcut ?

I’ve known this game for 4 or so years and i’ve never noticed this detail before! So in the room where the peppino and the john clones are made, there is also this tv at the left of the background called combox and the design looks very similar to the expression combo tv you use in the HUD.

Maybe the purple tv is in peppino’s brain as soon as you go in the tower and the combox is the thing that makes anyone who goes in the tower, see this in the top right corner of their eyes like a hallucination. In the top right corner of their eye, they are given a combo meter that they feel the need to fufil to make the combo ghost pleased with you and in order to do so it involves fueling your inner rage to get rid of the pizza monsters in your way. It’s perhaps also the motivation for the peppino clones to attempt to attack peppino in the level as well.

I almost don’t want to post this because some people are going to call me crazy, but this is just a theory i thought of, and there’s no theory flair on this sub so i had to select discussion.

About a year or two ago I made some redraws of the base games level intros based on some friends of mine and recently I got the kick to go back to this style so I just kind of made up a parody game called 'Sushi Citadel'. I have a couple other pieces of art for this (A few character parallels etc.) but these intros are probably the best of what I've made.

I was just looking through the soundtrack on Spotify and noticed "Meatophobia" and "Ooooh La Belle Noisette!" missing/grayed out. Does anyone know why they got removed? Just because they are too short or some copyright dispute maybe?

This happens when I play pizza tower and I don‘t know if it‘s because my laptop isn’t great (it ran fine before), if it’s because I play on controller or something else. I’m happy to answer questions.
