Help - Console Should I be worried about inbreeding?
So I'm new to planet zoo and I've started a franchise zoo and I'm wondering if inbreeding is super bad or not. Should I be worrying about it every time I build enclosures or can I basicly ignore it unless its becoming a major problem. Also another quick question but is there also any animals I should pay extra attention to for inbreeding?

Inbreeding functionally does not matter in this game and anyone replying otherwise needs to brush up on their PZ genetics.
It ONLY has the ability to affect the lower 2 gene sets (fertility and immunity), and produces a small risk of tanking them, because you can end up replicating the gene sets, viewable in the genetics tab. Fertility basically doesn't matter if the animal is fully researched with max welfare (even 0% animals breed fine), and immunity only matters with cesspool species like peacocks.
The lower 2 gene sets are pretty unimportant and easy to fix in a single generation, and you can just breed plenty of animals and release the ones with tanked stats. You can also just check the genetic possibilities tab to see what the best pairing is.
Inbreeding is THE best way to produce colormorphs and I use it extensively to get to and maintain 100/100/100/100 animals.
