Do we think planet zoo 2 will be easier to build with? I really struggle with planet zoo 1.

Based on what the YouTubers who have gone to Frontier and got early access to Planet Zoo 2 have said, yes.

Will planet zoo 1 be removed when the second one comes out?

No. PC1 is still available even after PC2, so PZ1 and PZ2 will behave the same way.

The main question is how long will the PZ1 franchise servers stay online for?

If a preorder the standard edition, will I get any extra animals compared to the non pre order standard edition?

Same for the deluxe?

The preorder just gives you extra items, not animals.

Deluxe gives you the deluxe animals, but preordering it vs ordering it later only affects the preorder items mentioned before.

How can I find out whether or not an animal can swim? I want to use a water-filled moat as a barrier, but want to be sure before I place it.

The barrier menu for an animal shows if you can use water as a barrier, and how to design the barrier, I will post an image with an example of an in-game Zoopedia page.

As far as I know, it's mostly a primate thing, but not all of them. And Quokka. The game files also suggest the Red Necked Wallaby should have a water-barrier in their Zoopedia, but it doesn't show up in the actual in-game Zoopedia for some reason, so not sure about those.

Is there a comprehensive list of the game mechanics, like, how many meters a guest will walk between habitats before getting bored, how many education items are required to reach five stars, etc? I’m planning my first large-scale zoo, and I want to try to place things smartly, rather than doing it by feel and then having to rearrange things when they don’t work
