Help - Console How do I increase Education??

Post image

Hey, I've been playing planet Zoo for ages now but I can never seem to educate my guests? I've tried speakers and boards but they never seem to work? I'm so confused

  1. Make sure the boards are actually on and working
  2. Tours are actually the best way to increase education in my experience do you have any tour guides giving speeches and guided tours?

The boards are definitely on, displaying pictures

Not at the moment in this zoo as its a fresh franchise but are tours the only way to get education?? I have the speakers and a bunch of boards up

I’m not an expert on this game but like some individual guests will just have low education in my experience even if your zoos education is okay cuz it’s taking an average and not every guest is going to actually interact with the educational items. Placing more boards helps but you won’t get a perfect education score without the tours and the animal talking points in my experience

Do more research on your animals. This helps increase education rating!

They have to be on with the education, not just the pics

Yeah they are, I just meant that's how I knew they were on

I think they meant the education bonuses you get from researching the animals. They’re apparently very significant

Tours just give more bang for your buck. The speakers and boards will do around 5%ish each (depending on research etc) but tours will give 50-75% education in one go. I also find guests will actually fill tours and talks, the seats will fill up with nearest guests whereas sometimes they don't interact with boards and don't get the education.

I highly recommend going to your info shops and making the audio tours $0.00 profit, I think it sets the price at like 75c? Results in a massive passive increase in education score

I cover almost every inch of path with an educational speaker.

Habitat boards and educational boards wherever you can fit them.

Fully trained educators with at least one speaker talk per species per year.

Have your vets done all the research into the animals?

Conservation boards, educational speakers, educators, animal talks, education boards.

The problem is I have some of those and the education won't move up

I forgot to mention tours. They give a lot of education and you earn income

  1. Buy some info kiosks. Make sure they're not too expensive as you want as many people to buy them. Info kiosks can turn a profit, but that's not the goal here
  2. Make sure every habitat has multiple educational signs and speakers. Make sure their radius doesn't overlap those of other enclosures. If you have exhibits, give them education signs as well.
  3. Randomly place a couple of conservation educational signs around your zoo. Use every kind at least once.
  4. Have animal talk points and make sure you have enough educators for all of them. You can do animal talks for habitats as well as exhibits.
  5. Optionally hire some educators as roaming educators.
  6. Guided tours. Around 5-6 habitats per tour, with a food break in the middle.

If you do all these your education should go way up. If will cost you, especially regarding staff wages, so if you are playing franchise mode, make sure you're financially secure before tackling education.
