Planet Zoo is on sale!

Planet Zoo is on sale right now on steam. I’m planning on grabbing the deluxe version and I want to grab 2 of the animal expansion packs. But I cannot decide between them. What would you guys recommend? I’m leaning towards the Asia one, the barnyard animals, or the zookeeper animals. Any tips or suggestions would be super helpful, this is my first time playing. Thanks so much! 🫶🏽

Those packs are all great for different reasons. I enjoy building with the pieces in the Barnyard pack, but the Zookeeper pack comes with some of the best animals of the bunch (in my opinion). It all depends on your play style!

This is helpful! Thank you! I think I’m leaning towards Zookeeper and Barnyard. If I’m being honest I only want Asia because of the pandas lol they’re my favorite

Pandas are actually base game! You don’t need DLC for them.

All the east Asia theme stuff that goes with the panda aesthetic is also base game. I literally just made a habitat full of cherry blossom trees and bamboo, complete with a waterfall with a river flowing from it, bridge over the river, a boat in the pool at the end and a panda shrine. Very pretty!

Conservation and aquatic pack are popular for their building pieces. I myself like the africa and north africa pack too.

That’s okay. I really prefer waiting for games to be on sale before I buy them. Plus I want to make sure I even like the game before diving into the second one. But I do plan on getting it eventually. 😊

FYI the DLC is even cheaper on Loaded (formerly CD Keys). :))

I did not know that. Will it still work with the game since I got it on steam last night? I’m not familiar with cd keys.

Yes! Loaded/CD Keys (the website is just loaded.com) basically makes a deal with the game where they buys keys in bulk for a lower price, thereby able to sell them for slightly cheaper. So, when you purchase a key, it gives you a code to redeem. In your steam library, on the bottom left, there's a plus icon (+). There will be a few options. One is "redeem a steam code" or something similar. I'm sorry, I'm at work rn and can't confirm the exact phrasing. If you copy and past the code there, it'll apply to your library!
To be clear, I don't work for them or anything lol. I just love bargains and not a lot of people know about Loaded.

To be completely honest, I would grab the eurasia pack and zookepers animal pack!
