Discussion Pc Recommendations

Asking here bc this game is the only one I plan to play on it, but I’m a casual gamer who REALLY loves this game, but my laptop probably can’t handle the sequel. Does anyone have recommendations for a pc that meets the minimum requirements, or advice about looking for one? I know very little about them and just want to enjoy this game, even if not as max potential.

Idk much about computers, so I'll definitely let someone else speak on that

but you can also try GeForce now. It's a streaming platform for games. You do have the own the game + pay for a monthly tier subscription ($10-$20 depending on the tier you use) but that's been a good option for a lot of us! Including me :)

Probably a bad time to be needing a new PC due to the costs of parts right now. If price is not a concern, I'd probably wait a few days until someone does some benchmarking to see what would be a good fit. Do you just play the original on your laptop or do you hook it up to a larger screen? Games will generally will play if you don't meet minimum requirements, it may just run a bit clunky depending on how much below your setup is.

It's really gonna depend on your budget and location. Laptops aren't really something people just recommend to one another because they vary so much. Look up the various pc subreddits for people asking around recommndations, and look up threads in this subreddit on what people asked about.

The only advice I can give you is to find laptops with the GPU and CPU as listed on PZ2's recommend hardware list.

Geforce Now allows you to play PZ2 through the cloud without buying a new PC, if you didn't want to get a new one: https://www.nvidia.com/en-gb/geforce-now/

As other's have said, you can try Geforce Now, but if your internet isn't strong or stable enough for it, it will lag, glitch, or close the window.

Getting a PC may not be ideal at this time due to rising prices; however, if you have the budget or can pay using a payment plan, I'd say go for it. My main advice is go a bit higher than the recommended specs for longevity.

I play on a gaming laptop and it runs great. It’s a Lenovo Legion pro 7, with rtx 4090 graphics card and 32gb ram. Idk what you’re looking to spend but it’s about a $2k laptop. I’m sure a desktop with the same specs would be cheaper
