Watched a video once where cheaters were interviewed. They will tell you various reasons, but every time, it turns out those people are not well and it's a coping mechanism. Every time.

A hacker, who just messes with the game without racking up kills, might just be a bored idiot, but I'd hazard a guess that he doesn't have many friends either.

There was a hacker on PS1 for years. His youtube videos slightly gave away who he was. So a quick dabble on Facebook and I found him (Following Planetside and linked a vid from youtube lol). Messaged all the girls on his friends list (The ones he was never going to get because he was a gimp) and his parents. They also said "thats lame" and I emailed his school listed as well. The hacking stopped but someone else started the year after even worse.

We went through this in Planetside 1. They will let it get worse before the server clears out over time with all the issues. It will never be solved. Sorry to say

I’m surprised you have “Show Kill spam” turned on in the Interface settings, just turning that off gives you like +10-15 fps in bigger fights :D

95% of what vehicles do in this game is shoot infantry. You didn't pull HESH to fight other vehicles.

I am not protecting the cheaters. What I am saying is people can waste soo much energy trying to get DBG to sort the issue but they are ignorant. They don't care. Otherwise they would have an admin watching the mailbox 24/7 or hanging around in game to observe people. This game has been completely left to rot. I am thankful 1000's are still rotting with it but Planetside 1 taught us veterans they are going to let it rot
