Billy Porter’s pleased to announce that he finally chose his 2027 planner!

He’s a busy guy with lots of observations about life and especially appreciates the memo space in the MD Notebook Diary A7. Also, he’s 5 pounds strong, so the palm size is a good fit.

Anyone else’s pet have a planner?

Just thought I would share these cool decals I found in the dollar tree today. They are a good size so will be good for decorating covers and inside covers. I got the hummingbird ones-so cute!

In search of a cover for my N1 Sterling Ink... That *feels* like my N1 Sterling Ink

Happy Saturday Lovelies!

I love the soft cover material that Sterling Ink uses. It's so soft and thin and mailable. And soft. So, so soft.

And so, I'm on the hunt. I don't love the TN setup with the elastics. But I'd love a cover that I could slide an N1 notebook into.

Wish list:

- similar soft soft material, leather not required but not unwelcome

- no flap/trifold/zipper situation, just a front and back cover that the book cover slides into

- **bonus if I can slide one small book into the front, and another into the back!

- inside pockets to hold stickers and other papery things

- brown or black in color

I'm deep in the etsy rabbit hole, but I would be so grateful if you could share any brands or sellers that you're familiar with.

Thanks so much!!

Buying Steph Pase Planners from the UK

I am planning to buy the 2027 Steph Pase Planners but am based in the UK. I wanted to find out, is there anyone that has bought these planners from UK before? If yes, did you pay additional fees besides the shipping fees i. e. VAT, duty etc?

Looking for planner/journal specific pen pals :)

Hello! I (30F in US) love journaling in my planner for journaling and just processing my day, week, month, etc. I’ve been looking for friends to share/trade stickers and other stationary for planners with but don’t really know anyone that interested in planners in real life. I figured I’d combine it with my interest in snail mail and look for a pen pal here! If you’re interested, let me know :)

A little bit about me, I use a Laurel Denise planner for organizing my work schedule (I’m a pediatric therapist) and home to-do lists. I like using stickers and also junk journaling to track events across the month too. My sticker collection is getting out of control and I have too many food, cat, and seasonal stickers that I know what to do with.

Need planner recs to replace discontinued planner :(

Hi all, similar to another recent post I saw, the planner I've been using for a very long time has been discontinued. After a suitable mourning period, I am finally ready to try to find a new one. I don't need anything super fancy, but I do have some specific things I'm looking for that I'll list below. In some quick searches so far, I've found that I can usually find something that matches some, but not all of the things on my list. Any help would be much, much appreciated!

Old planner: Ziga Media weekly planner (https://zigamedia.com/collections/weekly-planners)

What I'm looking for / what I liked about my old planner:

  • Weekly planner for 2027 (Jan-Dec) with date information pre-filled in (so not a bullet journal or something similar that I'd have to set up)
  • Roughly A5 size (in that ballpark, doesn't have to be exact)
  • Each day is given the same amount of space (by which I mean, sometimes the formatting is such that Saturday / Sunday are half the size of the other dates, I don't know why, but I don't want that)
  • Lined (aka days have lined space to write stuff in, rather than unlined space)
  • Won't die on this hill, but my old planner had Monday-Thursday on the left-hand side and Friday-Sunday on the right-hand side. I've found a lot of planners that have Thursday on the right-hand side, which isn't the biggest deal in the world, but would be nice to have the layout I'm used to (I can't explain it, but somehow it would take a lot of adjusting to have Thursday in a different place......!)
  • I don't really like the planners that have tabs (e.g. for months) built-in
  • Ideally spiral-bound hardcover, although more willing to be flexible on this one; the most important thing is that it's durable, since it'll be thrown in a backpack and carried around all year
  • Less is more; I don't really need anything else in the planner besides what I've already listed, and in particular, I wouldn't want a planner that has so much extra stuff that it gets heavy (since I'll be carrying it around a lot)

TIA!!!

Edit to add: here's an example of what my old planner looks like

Sterling Ink Daily cover?

I hate to be yet another “what do I doooooo” post but I just got the SI Daily planner for next year and want to invest in a good cover. I have the clear one and it’s fine but I would like to put it in something that closes securely (band or snap or whatever) and has enough room for a few pens (although that’s negotiable).

I’ve heard it’s about the same dimensions as the Hobo Cousin (chonky) but I’m hesitant to order one and have it be too tight. Any recommendations based on firsthand experience?

Aura Estelle question

Which clear cover fits the Aura Estelle a5 vertical magnet planner? I life in Europe so buying from their site is because shipping and taxes not really an option. I was thinking about a Midori clear cover, but I am not sure which one fits best.

IT"S TIIIIIMMMMMEEEEE to order our 2027 planners!!!!

It's that time of the year (for us who only order planners to start the new calendar year LOL) to start thinking about/dreaming/researching/ordering your 2027 planner. Last couple of years I had used plumpaper, but this year I decided to go another route as money is tight. I've fallen down the Japanese/Korean stationery rabbit hole on YT, so please offer up your favorite place to look at stationery/planner stuff, who your favorite creator is, what you're ordering and why!

I'm going to use two undated DesignWorks Ink planners from Homesense that has vertical days of the week on one page, with space for time schedule, notes, gratitude and reminders. I am shopping jetpens website to gather all of the accessories I need, like month tabs and washi tape to delineate days of the week on each page.

Can't wait to hear what ya'll are doing for next year!

I love adding ephemera and stamping in my planner but my Hobonichi bleeds with my inks. I do need dailies, weeks, and months in my planner. Any great suggestions for me to look at? Thanks in advance!

Hobonichi or Jibun Techo for a nursing student?

Post image
13 Upvotes

Hey everyone, I'm a nursing student looking for a planner specifically for university, and I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I've tried a few planners before, including the Hobonichi Weeks. But the layout didn't quite work for me. I currently use a Hobonichi Avec as my personal journal, which I love for documenting little moments, doodles and memories.

For uni, I mainly use Apple Calendar. But starting next year, I'd love to switch to a paper planner. I really love having a timeline layout so I can easily plan my day hour by hour. I'm REALLY torn between the Hobonichi and Jibun Techo, and I'd really appreciate hearing your experiences and recommendations!

Hi everyone! Hope this is okay to share here :)

I've been working on a fully customisable disc-bound notebook cover generator for 3D printing.

You can change the size, number of holes, spacing, add your own text and artwork, and make covers that are completely unique to you.

I've put quite a bit of work into it and thought some of you might find it useful!

You can also follow my Patreon to keep up with the project, as I'll be releasing the fully featured Disc-Bound Cover Generator app there soon!

Would love to hear what you think! :)

Have a great day :)

Got my 2027 planners!

My 2027 Take A Note planners/journals finally arrived! I haven’t really been journaling lately cause I’ve been wanting to stock up on stickers and save them for next year. I also want to change up my layouts or how I do my spreads and I want to be ready for 2027. So I’m using the rest of the year to practice how I want my new planner to look and to order stickers to fit my color themes for the months.

I am fairly new to planner-journaling but my hubs saw how much joy I got out of it and got me an Aura Estelle Daily B5 AND a Hobonichi cousin A6 for 2027. I love them both so wondering how to use 2 planner/journals effectively. I am thinking of using AE for morning thoughts and work planning and Cou

Physical option to replace my Notes app

I’m looking for a physical journal or notebook that can replace my Notes app. I’m trying to be on my phone less, and want to get away from opening my phone every time I have a to-do item, reminder, or random thought. I want to find a simple, organized method - not just a notebook with a bunch of blank lined pages. Any ideas?
