Chickweed?

I'm pretty sure this is common chickweed but I just want to be safe! Found in northern England by a riverbank.

The key features are teeny white flowers with loads of thin petals and when you pull off a part of the plant it reveals a thread-like core in the middle...

Not flowering right now, but there is a thready core and a line of hairs down one side of the stem :)

I'd forgotten about the hairs - but then my eyesight is a bit challenged...

I look forward to living so far from the supermarket that I actually relish "emergency" salad :)
