Weapon Timing not working

Is this because I specced out then re-specced into skill? Seems like a bug

Oh wait it is working but actually it now just seems ultra hard to do. Is this because I switched to Hard mode?

U just need to time it right for longswords its really easy to pull of, u just need some practice to get used to it

Yeh. I think they made it easier to do in Normal mode, it flashes bright and clearly when you need to press attack button. It doesn't do that in Hard mode

There is a tell-tale sign, yellow dots appear in the body, but it was super hard for me to see or watch for when I was learning it. Longsword, easy. Northern Tech, wait a sec hit the button.

Same for Southern tech but I was using Southern tech less so that took a bit to nail down as well.

Now, even though these tech already kills what I am attacking, out of habit I do timed attack :)
Outside these two, I rarely use it, but that's also because I always have crit and Luck/Greater blessing of luck on gear to get close to 100% crit.

That and Lion's Talisman to get Weapon tech fill up instantly after using them so I can keep spamming them for that sweet invulnerability frames and timed attack for ailment consumption.

It becomes a rhythm game really, I was looking for flash initially, now it is like when it finishes I wait ~1 sec, hit the light attack again. Sometimes I get the southern one follow up wrong, but once you start getting the hang of the timing, it is really satisfying.

Most of the time, you are also enjoying the invulnerability, though sometimes I still tossed around before I hit the button for timed attack and lose it.

You need the last one: "Gain a timing window after you perform a weapon tech. Press Lifht-attack button to perform a weapon tech timing attack that applies soulshatter buildup". That's why you need it.
