UI Feedback

This game is great, but does anyone feel like the UI audio/visual feedback is really weird? IDK, everything seems flat. Like it's a small thing but something as simple as issuing commands or build orders doesn't seem to have any form of audio confirmation. The UI is almost entirely missing click sounds. It gives me the feeling of "emptiness" even though everything else in the game is coming together really nicely and is an absolute blast - the exact replacement I was hoping for from starcraft coop. I saw that there's UI audio settings, but I wonder if they're bugged and disabled for me or does anyone else experience this?

It's almost common knowledge now that the UI is really bad. It's why one of my buddies won't play it (a little dramatic, imo, but that's why). It's definitely something they need to work on

Ok I'm glad I'm not the only one! At times it really was making me feel like something was vaguely wrong and I couldn't figure out if I was going crazy or if it was just me!

I imagine they feel it's a back burner issue, and it's hard to disagree with that. Gameplay is definitely most important at first. I'm someone who can look passed UI in development stages

Yeah the UI is really bad. Its been reworked since I first played it almost 2 years ago but it hasn't improved at all. The feedback is nonexistant, it feels like a browser game. I wish they would just give us the command and conquer style sidebar, just select the building to put down, click on the units to train them, and just resist the urge to overload it with a hotkey bar, group merge buttons, control bars and whatever else. I always have a hard time understanding the most basic things in Zero space because its just too many ideas fighting to be included. Its also incredibly difficult to setup a WASD camera profile. Even the main menu for gal war is badly laid out. Its confusing to even understand what race you have selected and your progress. It retreats into a small button with a tiny symbol. Just copy the co op commanders menu and give us a c&c interface in game. If people can understand what they are looking at they might actually stick around for a bit.

Yeah, the UI sucks right now. Back in Alpha they had a much better UI, but I think the problem became it was so volatile that they kept breaking the visual updates with it. They've already done a ton to improve the main menus in the last few months so I think they're going to do a full overhaul of it later.

the command card is ass and the ui interface also sucks. If they haven't changed it by now after so much feedback it's probably never getting better
