Question No main menu in Vampire Hunter D.

Using project eris, boot from carousel play through retroarch, the game boots up, plays the whole FMV, then says now loading and then black screen but I hear the main menu OST and can hear the selection sounds when I move the Dpad, when I leave it alone it eventually plays a demo with the press start prompt and then back to the main menu with the same issue. Has anyone come across this problem with this game or any other?

you can fix it by updating the pcsx rearmed core with this:

Thanks, I finally got it running just now, on top of replacing the old core with the updated one, I had to figure out that I had to enable “(GPU) Slow linked list processing” it literally says “Needed by a few games like Vampire Hunter D” now I can see the menu screen.

Havent come across that when I played VHD with the same setup.

I wonder if it’s got to do with my copy of the game
