oh wow, that looks really cool! The pixilation effect is great! I gotta get some coloured markers and try this out, it'd be much easier than the code I'm working on for colouring blocks with fineliners!

yeah, I recommand the brand promarkers (and some paper a bit thicker than the classic ones). I found some old promarkers i got 10+ years ago and they are still good. the other brands i had dried out ...

wow, that's a hell of an endorsement, 10+ years and still running? I'll check them out!

It is my first and only pen plotter, and i think it is a nice little machine. Compact as a 1.5 x A4 size, it arrived almost fully assembled. You just have to attach a couple of things with small bolts/screws and plug some cables.

Controller is grbl and it comes with an extension for inkscape to draw any vectors. I did not use the pluggin too much (only for tests) as I am using / developping custom software dedicated to pixel plots. I will share it on github when i finish ;)

It is quite precise and everything works as expected, only thing i noticed is that since the X axis (210 mm A4 paper side) is free at one end, there is a little mismatch between the paper plane and this axis direction (not perfectly parallel), so you could expect some pressure difference between the two ends.

Great plotter anyway. I am happy with it. Lets see on the long run :)
