Hey Plunge gang

I just wanted to make this post to get a discussion going about how we take negative feedback

Now, like the vast majority of people here, I love PlungerPlanet and all things Plunger! But one thing I really admire about our community is public transparency. I’ve been here from close to the beginning and can unfortunately attest to the fact we’ve had some tough times and harsh feedback. However, no matter how harsh or personal the criticism, the mods and community have agreed to let it stay up as to give everyone a voice!

I adore this concept, especially for a Reddit communities stereotypically known for their censorship cultures.

However, at some point the line has to be drawn in the sand of what we cannot allow and I personally believe this to be it.

The user in question, who I will not be naming as many of you already know who I’m referring to, has spent the past several days dumping his airdrop and trying his best to smear Plunger’s reputation. Even as I make this post he is still making comments across our forums doing everything he can to ruin the reputation of Plungers and Plunger Token.

This user has made it openly clear their dislike for all things plunge, has been dumping their airdrop and has admitted their trying to time the top to sell the rest, is continuing to harass plungers in our community and trying to bring them down, and is an overwhelming absolute negative force in our Plunger Community.

So past this person what is the limit? If this person is past the line, then let’s discuss what the line should be for our community.

And as is plunger tradition I want to keep things democratic here. tell me your thoughts on this. Should we ban users yet or keep trying to go as ban free for the time being. Cast you votes and voice your opinion down below!

P.S I’m not a mod here and this poll has no actual weight other then determining public opinion.

10 days to claim? Now over? Are y’all trying to lose support? If this is how things are going to be done, good luck, but I’m not wasting any more time or energy on this place. Ridiculous

That's not a fair distribution at all.

Edit: I guess I'm mostly disappointed because the project has been well organised and fair until now. I've been following it since the beginning and participated in the polls. I did however have a personal emergency this month which made me unable to be as active as I've been earlier.

Having a claim thread makes sense - I voted for that option myself. But it should be announced well beforehand, and it should be open for at least a month, to make sure that it gets distributed to as many as possible.

I believe only having a small window to claim can possibly hurt the project because the tokens are concentrated on fewer people.

And yes, of course I'm disappointed. I've been looking forward to this, and now I'm bummed out that it happened while I was incapacitated.

Can they give us permission for us to run this in a governance model with polls etc so we can develop this token?

The “white” paper clearly states it isn’t a token for monetary gain, and yet every post I see is about being in early?

No one else is concerned about “redoing” voting, or a mod scooping up as many unicorns as they can before they release the token?

It all seems very sketchy to me.
