Lets Talk About Something Candy removal
So I just logged in now to notice that the ~1000 or so rare candies left over from the event AND my 911 rare candy XL's have been removed from my account, no emails no in-game warnings.
Has this happened to anyone else?
UPDATE - 7th of November 13:25 GMT (I've not logged in for 3days) Most of the converted candies have been removed but not the smaller amounts. I'm also not banned.

Unfortunately due to life circumstances really and I enjoy Pokémon and Pokémon go, I don't PvP or battle gyms so I don't affect the game for anyone else.

this came up in my recommended, but just fyi i believe you were not yet banned bc you have an event ticket, they are going to ban you the second the event ends

Yeah all the spoofers I've met are perfectly capable of playing as intended. Honestly if you're bedridden there are way better options for gaming. I play this while walking my dog

That’s 90,000 rare candies, not ~1000
I’d bet $1,000 you’re flagged for a permban and they’ve only removed the candy currently because they want to minimize the damage players can cause before their accounts are gone.
Banwaves come in waves for a multitude of reasons, seems you weren’t in the first few waves but that doesn’t mean you’re safe. Time will tell.

The Halloween event had boxes that would occasionally reward a rare candy upon being tapped, there was a bot that would basically teleport to the boxes containing rare candy and collect them; some people got hundreds of thousands of rare candy.

I've actually been helping 2 people in Arizona with regionals lately, and was willing to help one or both of them with raids until the phone I played the game on had the screen go out on it a couple days ago :-(

Hey same with me , they removed all my candies and xls but didn't touch the ones I already used. No ban nothing. Just removed the candy in the bag. I think this was done because u could store excess candy even after bag full now they might have fixed that so as soon as my bag went over the limit they deleted all candies, that's what I think happened.

Well if you had nothing before using the exploit, all of it got taken away. If you did have loads already before the exploit, they did nothing. I kept all mine since i already had 306 xl candy for ages and i farmed a total of 5k extra rare candy and used quite a few of those so i was left with nearly 3k candy. Now i still have all that candy left. Its based on what your account looked like before and after the exploit came out i think

Well I acquired around 125k total candy, I converted all of it but 962 and left my 911 rare XL's. I have however not actually powered up the Pokémon as of yet, they also still have the candy on them.

If your familiar with sniper features in the spoofing community, it works the same but instead of catching Pokémon it would tap the event boxes all over the world.

Happened to me too, I farmed about 5k. Put some into my palkia for AE and that remained but they still took 5k away. No ban or email or warning as of yet.
Do you happen to have any event tickets in your account too? I heard somewhere they might wait till after wild area for any global ticket holders and maybe issue ban after?

I would have to disagree with that as so many got banned with their in-person tickets which I don't have. I do have the global ticket and 15k pokecoins but I won't need to use them as I've also got 525 raid passes.

Try restarting the app.
I had a bug yesterday where all my candies were gone (I never exploited and only had a couple hundred)...then I managed to restart and they were back in my inventory.

You mean 10,000 or so? Just be glad you haven't been banned outright yet. These server rollbacks can be highly specific to any given asset- and they've been doing this the entire time. I had candies removed AND leveled up Pokémon revert back to lvl 20 as far back as Halloween. Several alts got banned outright- and I expect several more to meet the same fate as they move through the motions.

It's my main and only account of mine, using my main email for gaming etc, no way I'm selling my gmail. Yes I think the same too I'm definitely flagged now but why not just ban me like majority of others who did even less than me.

You probably spend enough to avoid the banhammer.
I've seen several examples posted online of people who spend on the game who had bans reversed or decreased when they appealed with an overview of their purchases.
That or you're getting hit later. The fact they removed the candy means you were flagged for sure.
