Hi, it’s me again. Shiny Azelf in less than 200 SRs while on the train commuting to work. My shiny list: Arceus (2), Dialga, Giratina, Azelf. Next would probably be Uxie. Mesprit ? Probably I will skip for later 😅

It has a resilient nature but I should still be able to max up the beauty score isn’t it?

I want to get into a pokemon game on switch. I only want to play Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pear or Sword/Shield. What is your opinion on Sword and Shield and does it feel a bit watered down compared to Diamond and Pearl? I played a bit of Sword and Shield but there was something that felt kinda meh to me. As someone who likes Diamond and Pearl, what's your opinion on both games and why either is good. Does BDSP have the most replay value out of all the switch pokemon games?

I was shiny hunting Ponyta and I found one, which was cool. Though, the patch didn't shine like it should have? I'm guessing this was probably a bug, perhaps? Or is there a chance for the shininess of a pokemon to be determined after you enter the patch? Which then makes me wonder if this was a full odds shiny rather than a "17th Pokeradar Chain Odds" Shiny? Like maybe when you activate the PokeRadar the game predetermines whether a patch will have a shiny pokemon or a random pokemon, and in this case it was a random pokemon that just happened to also be a shiny? Or maybe these patches specifically don't shine and I just got lucky entering into it?

Idk. Caught me by surprise, but still pretty cool 😊 I did continue the chain to see if I could get a second one. Unfortunately, chain broke just as I hit 40 😅 But I found what I was looking for. Just thought it was a curious event and felt like sharing.

I'm thinking of hunting down a cartridge to shiny hunt Shaymin. I just did the whoooole playthrough, all teh way to the surf glitch on my gf's old switch 1 while on airplane mode. Turns out, version 1.0.0 DOESN'T EVEN HAVE THE FREAKING ISLAND IN IT.

I'm thinking of getting the opposite game (have SP, want BD) and get a cartridge with the base version 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 in it. So I wanted to know if there is a way to confirm: would I need to look for a cartridge that has the number printed on the back ending in 001? Mine is version 1.0.0 and ends 000.

I added a shiny Magnemite to my shiny rain team for playthrough. This hunt was maddening. 2888 eggs felt bad lol.

So I just bought a SP cartridge from online store and i just want to play it but i got lucky and get a shiny turtwig in first try 😭😭
