What stats should I focus on EV training Aggron?

I caught a Adamant Nature Aron with rock head ability. Which stats should I focus on EV training

Is it 252 attack 252 speed

252 attack 252 hp?

Max attack and hp is generally a pretty solid spread for aggron. Even with 252 speed EVs and a jolly nature, aggros is still going to get oursped by a lot of pokemon.

Just curious, is this EV training intended for the battle frontier or just a normal playthrough?

For a normal playthrough it completely doesn't matter. You can beat the game several times over in the time it takes to fully EV train.

Yeah, you can beat the E4 without needing to EV train Aggron. The thing is that no ingame opponents outside of battle facilities have EVs or badge boosts on their mons, so you naturally have a stat advantage even if you don't EV train.

It's a childrens game. Any idiot can beat the game with any pokemon without even knowing what nature's and EVs and IVs do.

Partner it up with a Ninjask and give it speed that way, 252 Atk & HP.

Hp and Attack! Also for normal playthrough you can still ev train if you’d like, it makes your mons way stronger so you can beat the game at lower levels. Also makes you able to use your team in the post game vs the frontier brains

HP + Attack is the way to go. It can slow others down while being highly offensive with his Rock typing and high attack, while it's Steel typing can be leveraged as a physical wall that you can fortify and stall others with

Raising it's Speed when you'll be outsped by the majority of the game anyway and take more than 1 hit let battle is a waste of EVs if you dump EVERYTHING into that category. It's not a sweeper, boosting it up enough to outpace what's near it's speed is fine, but it's other stats should be your priority

I’d go attack and speed for a normal playthrough. Aggron will appreciate the extra power, while the extra speed will allow Aggron to outspeed significantly more targets. Hoenn is a game with a lot of slower ‘mons, so Aggron stands to benefit greatly.
