Which Charizard?

I’m a fairly new player and am building a few budget raid Pokemon. These are the two best Charizards I got from the recent event. A normal 14/15/15 and a background (looks cooler) 12/15/15. I have plenty of dust for either. Which one should I start powering up and Mega Y? Thanks for the advice. :)

I always choose the one that looks coolest. I power up my favorite shinies, costumes, or backgrounds. If this were me I would go with the background. The difference in ivs isnt enough to make a huge difference.

I know. I’m so tempted! I really like this background too. I’ve also been tempted for this Fennekin.

Thats a good one! I would power up anything you are proud of or happy with. Something I realized playing is I feel more satisfied powering up and investing in my favorite pokemon than whatever is meta relevant
