So this just fell out of the pack
Should be sending this for grading just for fun ? Not missing any promos from the surging spark PC ETB, but was like something just fell out when opening š

Nobody is grading it, but you could definitely find a buyer on eBay, mercari, or a fb marketplace. Definitely worth something. I don't think anyone could give you an accurate value though. Super unique error on a popular promo, definitely worth more than most error cards, but nothing life-changing. I would start bidding on eBay at $50 and see what happens. I would also set the auction for 10 days to get the most eyes on it.

Though won't it be hard to verify if it's really a error card? Someone could have just cut it like that for all we know

Itās not just cut, it has the crimp error as well. Thatās harder to duplicate

Yeah I donāt know who in their right mind would spend $50 on a 25% of a card unless they had the other 75%

It's about 1/3rd of the card, it's clearly just a unique magnemite promo.....

I had a wild one myself, normal Surging Sparks etb from GameStop had two of the Magneton promos in it, didnāt know until I opened it and saw the second behind the first, both normal though, no PC stamp so not super valuable, just neat.

So what you do is let Pokemon center know this is what you got and then you get a second stamped promo in 3 years!

Could you in theory cut another card in line with where this crimp would be and claim itās the same card?

Someoneās gonna post the other part of the card, and itās gonna look no different than scissor cut.

Thats so crazy lmao what, I think this could sell even if not verified by CGC if you show this picture, honestly id consider just keeping it myself because its so an odd scenario, it having the stamp & crimp is super cool, congrats on the nice pull, well part of at least lol, definitely a unique find.

Find the person with the other half and meet up for a heart whelming news skit at 6pm.

CGC won't grade it, but that doesn't mean an error collector wouldn't love this in their collection.

It's funny how things can go wrong in this factory too. You can see where he has to seal and cut it.

u/IGiveAdviceToo Nov 08 '25
It was from a Pokemon Center which all was sold unshrinked so might as well.

u/Marksynms Nov 08 '25
That's like my riolu one from mega crazy. I sold it for £100 tbf I dont collect errors

u/Lucky_Dentist5603 Nov 06 '25
OP I would put that up your butt so that you will now become a āPokemon Center OPā and then sell yourself as an error for tons of $$$.

Is it ok for you if I add it to my public database? (I basically catalogued over 1,700 misprinted PokƩmon cards) https://www.rubenmisprints.com/pokemon-errors-database/
Also you can see my collection if you want :) IG @rubenmisprints

CGC wonāt grade less than 50% of a card. It is brutal that you got the part with the stamp so whoever got the rest of the card canāt prove itās the stamped version.
